ISSI & Russian Embassy in Islamabad jointly organised a roundtable discussion on "Remembering Amb. Sarvar Azimov: Diplomacy & Pakistan-Soviet Relations, 1974-80". Amb. Anvar Azimov, son of Amb. Sarvar was the main speaker of the event among other distinguished participants.

Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, for a talk on “Pakistan–Iran Relations: An Enduring Partnership in a Changing Region.” The discussion highlighted the depth of Pakistan–Iran ties, grounded in history, geography, and shared strategic interests, while underscoring the importance of dialogue, regional stability, and cooperation amid evolving global and regional dynamics.

CAMEA organized a public talk under its Distinguished Lecture Series titled, ‘Rethinking Europe’s Middle East Policy: Balancing Interests and Values.’ The Distinguished Speaker on the occasion was Dr. Flavius Caba-Maria, President of the Middle East Political and Economic Institute (), Romania. The talk was attended by diplomats, academics, students, practitioners, and members of civil society.

CAMEA @ ISSI held a roundtable on Current Situation in Afghanistan &its Implications for Pakistan & the Region. Participants observed that while Afghanistan faces complex challenges with regional implications, there is a shared interest in stability. They emphasised sustained dialogue, constructive engagement & mutual understanding between Pakistan & Afghanistan as essential for long-term regional stability.

ISSI in collaboration with the , hosted the conference “Pakistan-Kazakhstan Relations: Post-Visit Reflections & Pathways for Strategic Cooperation” at Mövenpick Islamabad. Experts highlighted connectivity via Eurasian corridors, AI & digital cooperation, trade, education & people-to-people links, reinforcing momentum for stronger bilateral ties.

hosted a delegation from Institute of International Politics and Economics (IIPE) Serbia 🇷🇸 on 11 Feb 2026 for a call-on meeting and MoU signing to strengthen institutional cooperation. Discussions focused on regional & global issues and enhancing think-tank collaboration between Pakistan and Serbia.

CAMEA organised a Distinguished Lecture Series titled “Palestine at a Crossroads: The Future of the Palestinian Cause under the Board of Peace.” Dr. Mohammad Makram Omar Moh’d Balawi, Secretary General of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, was the Chief Guest, while Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Chairman PAIDAR delivered the keynote address.
