A distinguished delegation from Azad Jammu & Kashmir visited the Business Facilitation Center (BFC), Islamabad to review its one-window operations and digital facilitation model.
The delegation included Mr. Rashid Haneef, Secretary Information & IT AJK; Mr. Qazi Anayat, DG AJK IT Board; Mr. Ishtiaq Awan, Sr. Manager eGovernance; Mr. Nouman Peerzada, Sr. Manager Databases; and Mr. Khalid Rafique, DG NITB.
The visit focused on understanding BFC’s integrated digital systems, inter-agency coordination, and investor facilitation framework aimed at improving ease of doing business through technology-driven solutions.
BFC Islamabad continues to serve as a model of streamlined governance and efficient public service delivery.

Federal Minister for Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has extended heartfelt New Year greetings to the nation on the commencement of 2026.
He stated that the new year will mark a new chapter of economic stability, enhanced investment and sustainable development in Pakistan.
He highlighted that the Government is taking effective and far-reaching measures to provide a secure and conducive business environment for both domestic and international investors. Transparent policies, one-window operations, and business-friendly reforms are positioning Pakistan as an attractive destination on the global investment map.
He added that increasing foreign investment will strengthen the economy, generate employment opportunities and support technology transfer across sectors including energy, IT, agriculture, industry, infrastructure and Special Economic Zones.
