New E-Passports Ready for Release
Date Uploaded: 25 March 2026

The e-Passports of the following Filipino nationals are now available for release at the Philippine Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Applicants who are ready to claim their passports are advised to bring their official receipt and their old or expired passport (if applicable, particularly for those who renewed their passports).

Applicants who are unable to personally travel to Islamabad may coordinate with the:

for guidance on the release procedure.

For those who cannot claim their passports in person, a notarized authorization letter from the applicant is required, together with valid identification cards of both the applicant and the authorized representative.

The Philippine Embassy will be CLOSED on the following dates in observance of the following Pakistan national holidays:

Monday, 23 March 2026: Pakistan Day (Youm-e-Pakistan) and Defense Day

MANILA, 25 February 2026–The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reminds Philippine passport holders to refrain from putting unauthorized stamps or markings on their Philippine ePassports.

Such unauthorized changes to the ePassport not only renders the travel document invalid, but is also considered as tampering of an official document, which is punishable under the law.

The ePassport should be submitted only to authorized officials or authorities for stamping.

The Philippine ePassport is the property of the Republic of the Philippines and any alteration, addition, or destruction of its contents is strictly prohibited. END

REMINDER TO THE FILIPINO IN PAKISTAN

The Philippine Embassy in Islamabad is advising all Filipinos living in Pakistan to be cautious and intensify vigilance due to ongoing protests in some parts of the country.

All Filipinos are strongly encouraged to stay inside their homes as much as possible and avoid protest areas, large gatherings, and locations near embassies and sensitive government buildings. Avoid unnecessary trips and stay alert to events in your area.

Those living inside secured compounds are advised to remain in their respective residences unless exit is desperately necessary. Filipinos outside secured areas should avoid passing places where people are gathering.

Filipinos with scheduled flights are advised to contact their respective airlines directly for updates regarding their flight schedules.

The Embassy continues to closely monitor the situation and implement appropriate security measures within its premises.

The safety and welfare of Filipinos is our top priority. The Embassy will provide further notice if necessary.

The Philippine Embassy in Islamabad advises all Filipino nationals in Pakistan to exercise heightened vigilance due to ongoing protests in several areas of the country.

All Filipinos are strongly encouraged to stay indoors as much as possible and avoid all protest areas, large gatherings, and locations near diplomatic missions or sensitive government sites. Please limit non-essential travel and remain alert to developments in your area.

Those residing within secured compounds are advised to remain inside their residences unless movement is absolutely necessary. Filipinos outside secured areas should avoid passing through areas where crowds have gathered.

Filipinos with scheduled travel are advised to coordinate directly with their respective airlines for any updates regarding flight schedules.

The Embassy continues to monitor the situation closely and maintains appropriate security measures within its premises.

The safety and welfare of Filipino nationals remain our highest priority. Further updates will be issued as necessary.
