Mr. Ali Rashid, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh for Science & Information Technology Department Government of Sindh, stated that Sindh is rapidly entering the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
He said that Karachi will not only remain the financial hub of Pakistan, but will also emerge as the country’s “Silicon Valley” by driving innovation, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and the future digital economy.
Mr. Ali Rashid further stated that the race toward the future has already begun, and Sindh is fully committed to leading this transformation.

The Science & Information Technology Department, Government of Sindh, through the Sindh IT Company (SITC), has initiated the modernization and digital transformation of the Sindh Business One Stop Shop (SBOSS) platform to further simplify and facilitate the process of doing business across the province.
Key initiatives include:
Integration of more than 150 government services and departments
24/7 technical support and digital monitoring systems
Online licensing, approvals, certificates, and business facilitation services
Integration with the national database and key digital systems
Establishment of modern Business Facilitation Centers across Sindh
Special facilities and support for women entrepreneurs
This initiative reflects the Government of Sindh’s commitment to creating a digital, transparent, and business-friendly environment.

Mr. Ali Rashid, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh for Science & Information Technology Department Government of Sindh, met with a trade delegation from South Africa.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding opportunities for cooperation with Sindh’s IT Ministry in the fields of technology, investment, and innovation. Various possibilities for strengthening bilateral business partnerships were also reviewed.
On this occasion, the commitment to the vision of Digital Sindh, the promotion of international collaboration, and technology-driven economic growth was reaffirmed.
