صوبائی اسمبلی سندہ کا اجلاس طلب،

گورنر سندہ نے سندہ اسمبلی کا اجلاس 1 اپریل 2024، بروز پیر، سہ پہر 12 بجے سندہ اسمبلی بلڈنگ میں طلب کر لیا۔

گورنر نے اجلاس آئین کے آرٹیکل 109 کی شق الف کے تحت حاصل شدہ اختیارات کو بروئے کار لاتے ہوئے طلب کیا۔

صوبائی اسمبلی سندھ کا موجودہ اجلاس سولہویں سندہ اسمبلی کا تیسرا اجلاس ہوگا۔

The Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services-PIPS Services in collaboration with IP5-Mustehkam Parliaman Project organized a three-day workshop on “House and Committee Business: Responsibilities and Functions of Sindh and Balochistan Assemblies Officers" for the officers of the Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh and Provincial Assembly Balochistan . The workshop held from 12th to 14th May 2022 at Marriott Hotels, Karachi.
The workshop entailed elaborated in detail briefing sessions regarding the Rules, Provisions and Responsibilities of Parliamentary Staff, which would help the employees of the Secretariats to better perform their job when assisting Members of the Provincial Assemblies of Sindh and Balochistan in Legislative Business, Non-Legislative Business and the Committee Business. The participants were also enlightened about the Legislative Process.
The workshop was attended by employees from Grade 16 and above, among whom there were senior officers of the both Secretariats as well. Some of the officers with professional experience of over 20 years in the Assembly Secretariat and good awareness of the Rules, Provisions and Responsibilities of Parliamentary Staff also took part in panel discussion. Syed Sajid Ahmed (Administrator Automation and Senior Officer of the Secretariat of Provincial Assembly of Sindh) while representing Sindh Assembly enlighted the participants about Committee Business and Rules of Procedure of the provincial assembly. However, the purpose of this workshop is to bring all employees from varying scales on a single platform to engage in a knowledge-sharing experience. In the last day of workshop Mr. Christopher Shields (Team Lead Mustehkam Parlimaan) Mr. Muhammad Anwar (Executive Director PIPS (Pakistan Institute Of Parliamentary Services)) and Syed Sajid Ahmed (Administrator Automation) concluded the session.

Speaker NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF PAKISTAN and President PIPS BoG Honourable Raja Pervez Ashraf visited Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) today.During his visit, he stressed on the need to further enhance the abilities of Young Parliamentarians so they can legislate in the best interest of the people.
Executive Director PIPS Mr. Muhammad Anwar briefed Speaker regarding the core function of PIPS including legislative research, parliamentary research & conducting training sessions for parliamentary staff. He also briefed the Speaker regarding various activities conducted during the last year.

Honourable Governor Sindh Imran Ismail summoned Provincial Assembly of Sindh session on Friday 6th August, 2021.

The Annual Budget for the Financial Year 2021-2022 will be presented before the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on Tuesday , the 15th June 2021 at 03:00 p.m.
