WELFARE SERVICES OF SSSWO:
• To empower women in the real sense, we help them develop skills which can be beneficial in strengthening them economically. SSSWO has setup Skill Development Centre (SDC) where females are provided with an opportunity to learn not only traditional handicrafts but also modern skills at very nominal charges. In addition deserving females are also given FREE training in the following areas. Till December 2018 more than 3000 students were trained under these areas:
o Vocational Training
o Machine and hand embroidery
o Computer Training Course
o Cutting
o English language Course
o Drafting
o Sewing
o Beauty Care
• SSSWO Nursery:
Literate community is the backbone of a civilized society. SSSWO strongly believes in real-education for all and for this reason a Deeni-School "Jama-e-Suffah" was established in 1995. This has enabled the local community to get their children admitted at their door step where good quality initial-education is given FREE of cost. Currently more than 100 students are taking classes
• SSSWO Academy
The Academy was set up in the name of "Sapna Academy for Women (SAW)" in 1997. One of the main objectives of SAW is to provide educational/technical support to the students of the nearby vicinity at a very low cost and/or FREE training to needy women. SAW would enable students to face the challenging competition of their future professional life. This initiative was welcome by the people of the surrounding areas and currently more than 100 students (girls) are attending Academy stretching from Basic Beautician Course to Advanced Professional Training.
• SSSWO helps needy/poor women to establish the Premier Islamic Beauty Parlors for increasing employment and providing professional services at low charges in comparison with market.
• Stitching
SSSWO stitching section is catering to the needs of corporate and individual clients. SSSWO order section specialization is in stitching of uniforms, coveralls and dress clothes for ladies etc. at very affordable rates.
• Financial Assistance:
A large chunk of the neighboring population of SSSWO falls under the low income bracket and literacy rate is also very low. To help the deserving people SSSWO provides financial assistance through the following schemes:
o Distribution of scholarships to deserving students.
o Monetary assistance to the deserving and needy people of the community.
o Distribution of Zakat.
o Provision of food items for Natural Calamities, i-e. SWAT IDPs, recent flood affected areas etc.
