جامعہ بنوریہ عالمیہ کے شعبہ فقہ الحلال اور کراچی یونیورسٹی کے بین الاقوامی مرکز برائے کیمیائی و حیاتیاتی علوم (ICCBS) کے درمیان باہمی تعاون اور مشترکہ کاوشوں کے فروغ کے لیے مفاہمتی یادداشت پر اتفاق ہوگیا، جامعہ بنوریہ عالمیہ کے نائب مہتمم شیخ فرحان نعیم اور آئی سی سی بی ایس، جامعہ کراچی کے ڈائریکٹر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد رضا شاہ نے دستاویز پر دستخط کردیئے.
معاہدے کا بنیادی مقصد حلال سرٹیفکیشن، ٹیسٹنگ اور تحقیق کے میدان میں دینی اور سائنسی مہارت کے امتزاج کو فروغ دینے کے ساتھ ساتھ حلال صنعت سے متعلق معیاری، مستند اور بین الاقوامی سطح پر قابلِ اعتماد تحقیقی کام کی حوصلہ افزائی کرنا ہے.
معاہدے کے تحت دونوں ادارے اساتذہ، محققین اور آڈیٹرز کی پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں میں اضافے کے لیے تربیت کے خصوصی مواقع فراہم کریں گے، اسی طرح طلبہ کو حلال فقہ (Halal Jurisprudence) اور سائنسی ٹیسٹنگ کے عملی پہلوؤں سے براہِ راست روشناس کرایا جائے گا، سیمینارز، ورکشاپس اور حلال آڈٹس کے ذریعے علم و تجربے کا تبادلہ کیا جائے گا۔
دونوں جامعات کے درمیان یہ تاریخی معاہدہ ملکی و بین الاقوامی سطح پر حلال سروس سسٹم کے استحکام، صارفین کو شرعی و سائنسی اعتبار سے مستند مصنوعات کی فراہمی میں مدد گار بنے گا.
