The International Police Association (IPA) continues to embody its core spirit of “Servo per Amikeco”—Service through Friendship—by standing together not only in professional collaboration but also in moments of sorrow.

Mr. Tariq Jadoon, Secretary IPA Sindh Region-5, along with Inspector Amin Khan (IPA Sindh Member) and Mr. Sheryar Khan, UK Police Officer and IPA UK Member, attended the third-day Qur’an recitation (Soyem) of the late son of DSP Ahsan Zulfiqar.

On this solemn occasion, prayers were offered for the departed soul, and heartfelt condolences were extended to the bereaved family. DSP Ahsan Zulfiqar, a dedicated and active IPA member, was remembered with great respect. His professional services, commitment, and character were acknowledged, while words of encouragement were shared with his son and family.

The gathering was also attended by DSP Sohail Khan, DSP Nehal, and other respected police officers, where unity and brotherhood within the policing community were clearly reflected.

As a gesture of international goodwill and mutual respect:

- Mr. Tariq Jadoon presented an IPA Sindh souvenir to Mr. Sheryar Khan
- In return, Mr. Sheryar Khan presented a souvenir on behalf of IPA UK Section

Additionally, the prestigious “Police World Magazine (UK)” was presented by IPA Sindh Region-5, featuring highlights of Mr. Tariq Jadoon’s official visit to the United Kingdom, including participation in Blue Walk 75 – York and a professional visit to York City Police Station.

The visit of Mr. Sheryar Khan to Karachi, Sindh was warmly welcomed and appreciated, further strengthening the bond between IPA Pakistan and IPA UK.

This interaction stands as a powerful reminder that the IPA is not just an organization—but a global family united in professionalism, compassion, and friendship.

Another Proud Achievement for IPA Sindh Pakistan
We are delighted to share yet another proud moment for IPA Sindh Pakistan.
Ms. Shahzadi Gul, daughter of Inspector Shahzad Alamgir, an esteemed member of IPA Sindh Pakistan, has received an International Certificate of Recognition for her participation in the 5th International Children’s Painting Competition 2025.
This certificate was awarded at the international level under the International Police Association, and bears the recognition of the World President Martin Hoffmann and Socio-Cultural Commission Chairperson Christos Parginos.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Shahzadi Gul, Inspector Shahzad Alamgir, and the entire family on this wonderful achievement. Such recognitions bring pride not only to the family but also to the whole IPA Sindh Pakistan community.

REC Meeting – Region V Sindh
On 16 March 2026 (Monday), a meeting of the Regional Executive Committee (REC) of IPA Sindh Region–V was held at the residence of the Chairperson Sindh Region–V, Mr. Khadim Hussain Rind. The meeting was attended by Mr. Tariq Jadoon (Secretary, Sindh Region–V), Mr. Abdul Khaliq Ansari (Vice Chairperson), and Mr. Shakeel Ahmed (Finance Secretary).
During the meeting, various organizational matters, future activities, and the welfare of members were discussed in detail. The following points were deliberated:
1. Enhancement of Organizational Activities
IPA is a dynamic international police organization; therefore, emphasis was placed on strengthening professional connections among police officers and members through this platform and expanding organizational activities within the region.
2. Increase in Membership
It was agreed that efforts should be made to increase IPA membership in Region–V Sindh by encouraging more eligible police officers to join this professional platform.
3. Preparation of an Annual Schedule
The meeting agreed to prepare a comprehensive annual schedule for organizational activities and ensure its timely implementation.
4. Workshops and Training Programs
In order to enhance the professional skills and knowledge of police officers and members, the organization will arrange various workshops, seminars, and training programs.
5. Promotion of International Relations
Members emphasized the importance of utilizing the global platform of IPA to strengthen relations with police officers from different countries and promote the exchange of professional experiences.
6. Welfare of Members
Suggestions were discussed regarding the welfare of regional members, including addressing their concerns and providing appropriate support whenever required.
7. Promotion of IPA Objectives
The meeting highlighted the importance of promoting the fundamental principle of IPA, “Servo Per Amikeco” (Service Through Friendship), by strengthening brotherhood, friendship, and mutual cooperation among members.
8. Social and Welfare Activities
It was agreed to organize social and welfare activities within the region to improve community relations and to promote a positive and constructive role of the organization in society.
9. Sports and Recreational Activities
The proposal to organize sports and recreational activities for members was discussed in order to strengthen mutual relationships and team spirit.
10. Next Meeting
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was decided that the next meeting would be convened soon to review the progress on the decisions taken.
Conclusion
At the end of the meeting, Chairperson Mr. Khadim Hussain Rind thanked all the participants and expressed hope that the members of IPA Sindh Region–V would continue to play an active role in promoting the aims and objectives of the organization.

Blue Walk 75 – York, United Kingdom 🇵🇰

It was an honour to participate in Blue Walk 75 held in the historic city of York, UK, on 26th November 2025.

along with his colleague Salikh (Sunny) Khan, joined local IPA members Judith Smith and Chris Charlton from Scarborough Branch, as well as friend and supporter Geoff Milner, for this memorable event.

The walk covered approximately 10 kilometres, passing through some of York’s most iconic landmarks including the Rivers Foss and Ouse, The Shambles, and around York Minster. Despite cold and breezy weather conditions and the City Walls being closed, the spirit of camaraderie and international policing friendship remained high throughout the walk.

On 27th November 2025, Mr. Tariq Jadoon also visited York City Police Station, where he was given a comprehensive tour of various departments, including:

The visit provided an excellent opportunity for professional and cultural exchange with officers of York Police, further strengthening the bonds between IPA Pakistan and IPA UK.
