This is heartbreaking news. A truck drove into a Christian Resurrection day
procession in Gujranwala, Pakistan, killing multiple people and injuring over 60, many critically. Authorities are investigating it as a targeted attack on the Christian minority. ¹

Such incidents highlight the challenges faced by Christians in Pakistan. In the past, there have been attacks on churches and Christian communities, like the 2015 Lahore church bombings that killed 15 people and injured over 70.

The Pakistani government usually investigates these incidents, but concerns about justice and protection for minorities remain. The international community often expresses concern over such attacks.
