A single reading is not enough to diagnose it. Blood pressure should be checked in a relaxed state, with multiple readings taken at different times before confirming.

Heart valves control the flow of blood in one direction, but with age or disease, they can become damaged and require replacement.

For patients who are elderly or high-risk, open-heart surgery is often not a safe option. TAVI offers a minimally invasive solution by replacing the valve without surgery.
