The President of the Brazilian Bar Association – COP30 Committee – warmly hosted Syed Bulent Sohail Advocate, representing the Pakistan Bar Council and the Directorate of Legal Education. Mr. Bulent Sohail, Director of KCCC, joined the Pre-COP30 Global Summit as a speaker on the 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 panel, alongside esteemed global participants, contributing insights on advancing climate action through collaborative strategies.

The Climate Finance Focus Group Roundtable was convened at the Ministry of Climate Change Islamabad,to develop a strategy for domestic and international climate finance ahead of COP30. The session was moderated by Mr. Bulent Sohail, who highlighted the objectives of the Focus Group; to mobilize domestic climate finance to complement panel discussions and technical tracks, to identify factors restricting bankable pipelines and capital flows and to also discuss the proposal to institutionalise or semi institutionalise the forum for easier long-term communication and feedback. The session was attended by Hon’ble Minister of State, Miss Shazra Kharal, Commissioner SECP, Muzzafar Ahmed Mirza, representatives from other public and private institutions as well.
