The Science, IT & Arts Exhibition 2026 held on April 9, 2026, at JMC Kohat was a remarkable celebration of innovation, creativity, and talent. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Fazl-e-Hadi (Regional Director Higher Education South, Bannu), accompanied by Chief Organizer Professor Javed Iqbal and Exhibition Focal Person Dr. Jehanzeb Khan**.

The exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation from Girls and Degree Colleges of JMC Kohat, where students showcased their exceptional skills through innovative models, creative posters, and artistic works. The exhibits captured the attention of students, participants, and distinguished guests from various colleges, who highly appreciated the originality and effort behind each project.

A panel of judges thoroughly inspected and evaluated the projects to recognize outstanding performances. The winning projects were honored with Certificates of Appreciation for their excellence and creativity.

At the conclusion of this successful event, Professor Javed Iqbal (JMC Coordinator Kohat) presented a shield to the Chief Guest as a token of gratitude. In return, the Chief Guest awarded shields to the JMC Coordinator, Exhibition Focal Person, and event organizers in recognition of their dedicated efforts.

In his closing remarks, the Chief Guest declared the event a great success and emphasized the importance of promoting innovation and skill development among students, encouraging future projects that reflect creativity and practical impact.

The Science, IT & Arts Exhibition held on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at Government Postgraduate College Kohat was successfully inaugurated by the Chief Organizer, Professor Javed Iqbal (Principal GPGC Kohat), along with Dr. Jehanzeb Khan, Focal Person for the exhibition.

Both dignitaries thoroughly inspected the innovative models and creative posters presented by the students, appreciating their hard work, creativity, and scientific approach. The event was further enriched by the presence of judges who carefully evaluated the projects and posters on various criteria.

In recognition of excellence, certificates were awarded to the 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝟓 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬, encouraging students to continue their pursuit of knowledge and innovation.

𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 & 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐏𝐆𝐂 𝐊𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐭

Former Interior Minister and MNA Shehryar Khan Afridi and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister KP for Information Shafi Jan visited Government Postgraduate College Kohat on March 30, 2026, where Shafi Jan formally inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Department of Urdu / additional classrooms.

The project, completed at a cost of Rs. 35.927 million, aims to provide improved educational facilities and meet the growing academic needs of students.

Principal Prof. Javed Iqbal thanked the chief guest for completing this long-awaited project and highlighted key issues including solarization of the college and hostels, as well as the conversion of the dusty ground into a grassy field, and the pressing need for a college auditorium to host academic and cultural events.

In his remarks, Shafi Jan assured that these issues would be addressed soon, adding that the government is committed to improving educational infrastructure and providing a better learning environment for students.

Under the Spring Tree Plantation Campaign 2026, the Agriculture Extension Department Kohat donated tree plants to 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗵𝗮𝘁.
The plantation activity was carried out with the active participation of staff and students, promoting environmental awareness and supporting a greener and more sustainable future.🌱🌳
