A productive meeting was held between the teams of Punjab Skills Development Authority and TANG International Education Group to explore potential areas of collaboration in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
The discussion focused on introducing and strengthening demand-driven courses including Chinese Massage & Acupuncture, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Electric Vehicles (EVs), and Hydropower Construction. Opportunities for scholarships for students enrolled in CNA programs were also discussed in detail.
Both teams expressed their strong commitment to materialize these collaborative initiatives soon after the Eid holidays. It was agreed that TANG will share the translated curricula for these courses with PSDA for review and further deliberation.
Together, we are exploring new opportunities to equip youth with internationally relevant skills and promote quality technical education under the visionary leadership of Maryam Nawaz.

PSDA Moves Forward on ISO 9001:2018 Certification
PSDA team had meeting with ISO certification consultant today to review the Quality Management System for ISO 9001:2018 certification.
As Punjab’s skills regulator, we handle institute registration and oversight. This ISO journey will help us make those processes more efficient, transparent, and reliable for every institute and student.

A productive meeting was held between the team of Punjab Skills Development Authority and the Director General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department to deliberate upon potential areas of collaboration between both departments.
During the meeting, various areas of mutual cooperation were discussed in detail, particularly focusing on strengthening the skills sector, promoting demand-driven training opportunities, and empowering women through skill development initiatives. It was agreed to prepare a comprehensive work plan along with a Letter of Intent (LoI) to formalize the collaboration framework between the two departments.
Both sides also agreed to convene another meeting in the coming week to finalize the proposed work plan and outline the implementation strategy.
This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both departments towards achieving the vision of Maryam Nawaz Sharif for strengthening the skills ecosystem and promoting women empowerment across Punjab.

The Additional Director General (Regulations and Quality Assurance) of Punjab Skills Development Authority chaired a meeting with the Registration and IT teams to deliberate upon measures for removing bottlenecks in the registration process of new institutes providing technical and vocational education and training.
The meeting focused on streamlining the registration process, ensuring timely resolution of issues and challenges faced by institutes, and enhancing overall efficiency and transparency in service delivery.
A key point of discussion was the issuance of unique IDs to institutes to address duplication issues during the registration process and to establish a more organized and reliable institutional database.
The participants also exchanged suggestions for improving coordination between departments and strengthening digital systems to facilitate institutes seeking registration with PSDA.

Both teams reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional coordination and facilitating improved service delivery for trainees and institutes across Punjab.

Building Digital Fluency for TVET 🚀💻
PSDA IT Team proudly represented PSDA at the TVET Sector Support Programme’s one-day workshop on Digital Fluency, held 11th May 2026 at Park Lane Hotel, Lahore arranged by GIZ.
Alongside TEVTA, PBTE, TTB, PVTC & PSDF, we explored key areas: short-form video creation, engaging social media design, website visibility, and cross-platform outreach strategies to strengthen TVET communication.
A great step toward a digitally connected, future-ready TVET ecosystem in Punjab.

Strengthening TVET Through Digital Integration 💻📊
PSDA IT Team attended a key meeting at PIU-IWRPP, chaired by Project Director IWRPP Mr. Munawar Hussain. The session brought together all major TVET stakeholders including TEVTA, PBTE, and PVTC under one roof.
Dr. Raiz Ud Din from SD&ED presented the core agenda: developing a Single TVET MIS Dashboard to unify and align all sector databases into one integrated platform.
This initiative marks a major step toward data-driven governance, transparency, and streamlined service delivery across Punjab’s technical and vocational education ecosystem. PSDA is committed to supporting this digital transformation for a more connected and efficient TVET sector.
