It is a lucky moment to have strong allies as Honorable JahanAra Wattoo and Punjab Social Protection Authority. It was a huge pleasure to host our partners at UNICEF to exchange ideas on how the social protection programmes can effectively change lives of children, keep girls in school, and influence the behaviour of young mothers on breastfeeding.
We are eagerly looking forward to working together!

Today, during the polio campaign field visit, I had the opportunity to meet frontline workers, mothers and children in the community. Spending time with the children, sharing smiles, conversations and moments of joy, was a heartwarming reminder of why this work matters so much.
The dedication of teams going door to door to protect every child continues to inspire hope for a healthier, polio free Punjab. Every child reached is a step toward a brighter future for our communities.
As the campaign enters its catch up phase, it is encouraging to see the same passion and commitment from teams working tirelessly to ensure no child is missed. Together, through collective effort and care, we move closer to making polio history.
