خدایا خدایا تیرا بندہ آیا
ہے نفس اور شیطاں کہ ہاتھوں ستایا

تیری رحمتوں سے امیدیں لگائے
تیرے فضل کا منتظر ہے خدایا

ہے یہ بے عمل اور گناہگار بھی ہے
خطاؤں پے لیکن شرم سار بھی ہے

تیری وسعتِ مغفرت سے امیدیں
سراپا ندامت یہ عاجز ہے لایا

سوائے تیرے در کے جاؤں کہاں میں
تو ہی مجھ کو بتلا کہ جاؤں وہاں میں

نہیں ہے یقیناً کوئی در نہیں ہے
کہ سارے زمانے ہی کو آزمایا

تو غیرُ اللّٰہ سے دل میرا خالی کردے
میرے دل کو اپنی محبت سے بھر دے

مجھے اپنا عاشق بنالے الٰہی
یہی التجاء تیرے در پہ ہوں لایا

ہے مدت سے چاہت مدینے کو جاؤں
میں حال اپنے دل کا نبی کو سناؤں
