Roman Hayder, Bsf25000170 (B.Ed Hons 2nd Semester) was a bright, dedicated, and cherished member of our department. His presence brought light to our classrooms and corridors, and his loss leaves a void that can never be truly filled. We pray that the Almighty grants eternal peace to the departed soul and bestows strength and patience upon the family to bear this irreparable loss.

Observance of Kashmir Day
To mark the importance of Kashmir Day, the teachers of the Division of Education visited classrooms to engage students in awareness activities. A 15-minute talk was conducted, highlighting the importance, relevance, and humanitarian dimensions of the Kashmir issue in today’s global context.
Following the talk, a 60-second silence was observed in classes to pay respect to the people of Kashmir and other conflict-affected areas, symbolizing reflection, solidarity, and a collective prayer for peace.
Afterwards, students were guided to form multiple teams and spread across academic spaces to conduct awareness activities and silent prayers in solidarity with the Kashmiri people. Through these efforts, awareness was raised among more than one thousand students.
The In-Charge Student Affairs, Division of Education, along with the faculty members of the Division of Education, actively participated in organizing and implementing these activities. The observance emphasized the importance of freedom, human dignity, and solidarity with the people of Kashmir, reinforcing the role of educational institutions in fostering informed and peaceful civic awareness.

Division of Education (DOE), hosted a Seminar on "Teachers' Professional Development" on December 18, 2025. Organized by Dr. Humera Amin and Dr. Sumera Rashid, the event features an interactive talk by Dr. Muhammad Amin on key aspects of professional development for educators, including global trends in teaching. 📚👨‍🏫

University of Education Shines in 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign! The University of Education proudly outshined in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign by winning two top prizes for outstanding digital posters created by talented students from the Division of Education. The winning teams received shields and certificates from the Honorable Minister of Education, Mr. Rana Sikandar, who also announced the award of laptops on behalf of the Chief Minister of Punjab in recognition of the students’ creativity and commitment. The Minister appreciated the leadership of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Sadia Shaukat and Dr. Shaista Syeda, for empowering students through innovative learning—encouraging them to produce impactful work, write books, and integrate Art, Craft, and AI into meaningful expression. Special acknowledgment was also given to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar Chaudhary, for motivating faculty and students to participate actively and showcase their excellence in this important cause. The Honorable Minister further advised the faculty to collaborate with PECTAA for upcoming joint ventures to strengthen future initiatives.

Today, in connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Department of Special Education organized a Pamphlet Display aimed at raising public awareness about inclusion and accessibility. This meaningful activity was led by our Semester 1 students, who prepared well-researched and informative pamphlets to highlight the importance of inclusion, understanding, and respect for persons with disabilities. Their dedication and creativity made the event truly impactful. We are grateful to Director, Division of Education, Dr. Shahzada Qaisar for gracing the activity with his presence. His support and encouragement added great value to this awareness initiative. Let us continue to work together to promote inclusion, break barrier, and empower every individual
