19 نومبر، دبئی ایکسپو - پاکستان پویلین۰ میاں اسلم اقبال وزیر صنعت و تجارت پنجاب ،واصف خورشید سیکرٹری انڈسٹریز کے ھمراہ دبئی ایکسپو پاکستان پولینُ کا دورہ کیا اور وزیراعلی پنجا ب عثمان بزدار کی طرف سے قومی دستکاروں کو پنجاب کی نمائندگی پر سراہا اور کہہ کہ یہ پاکستان کی شان ھیں اور ھماری جان ھیں ۔جن کی وجہ سے ملک کی ثقافتی اور علاقائی دستکاریاں بین الاقوامی طور پر سراھی جا رھی ھیں اور اسطرح کی بین الاقوامی نمائشوں میں شرکت سے پاکستان میں ٹوریزم کو فروغ ملے اور اس سے ملک میں ھر طرح کی دستکاریوں کو بھی فروخت میں اضافہ ھو گا ۔جب ملک میں آنے والے سیاح سونیرز کے طور پر کرافٹ اور دستکاریاں خریدے گئے تو کاٹیج انڈسٹری اور معیشت بھی مضبوط ھو گئ انہوں نے دستکاروں کو دبئی ایکسپو میں شرکت کرنے پر اسناد سے نوازہ اور کہ ہاتھ کی بنی ہوئی دستکاریوں کو مزید نکھار نے کے لیے پنجاب سمال انڈسٹریز کارپوریشن کے ھینڈی کرافٹ ڈویلپمنٹ سنٹر ز، آرٹیزن ویلجز اور پنجاب روزگار کہ قرضے حکومت کے عملی اقدامات ھیں۔

Today, On 6th October2021. Mr.Gulzar Ahmed Honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan visited مرکز ثقافت Pakistan Handicrafts Shop in Lahore. Chief Justice spent about 45 minutes,he took great interest in promoting Pakistan's handicrafts. Alhamdulilah Chief Justice endorsed a proposal of Yawar Mehdi Director C&CI to create a fund for the well-being of artisans, and pass directions to his accompanying staff.

Punjab Small Industries Corporation has started Women Resource Center & Incubator yesterday at Vogue Towers, 15 MM Alam Rd,Gulberg,Lahore.
Solely for women to support and set up their businesses, enhance their entrepreneurship skills and overcome the challenges they are facing in current situation with the recent pandemic.. At the introductory season ceremony.

Yawar Mehdi Director C&CI thanked the participants on behalf of the Managing Director Mr.Muhammad Tahir and said that, almost all incubation centers in country are delivering at their level best an important role for motivating women, educating and inculcating an entrepreneurial culture among students and encouraging them to be job providers instead of job seekers,which we require for economic development. These incubation resource centers will improve the levels of women entrepreneurship, business ideas and skills which plays a vital role in the development. No doubt entrepreneurs are key players in the economic growth. PSIC Women Incubation Center will also help and facilitate for loans to women for new business under Punjab Rozgar Scheme.

Under the directions of Muhammad Tahir Watto, Managing Director, PSIC, Yawar Mehdi Director creative & culture along with Raja Shabir RD, Rawalpindi and Ms. Hinna Assistant Director visited the Ministry of foreign affairs, Islamabad for the establishment of Handicrafts Souvenir Shop at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and had a meeting with Ms Saima Sayed DG, Strategic Communications and Ms. Iqra Ashrat Director Ministery of Foreign Affaires Islamabd. MOFA admired the PSIC’s efforts to promote the artisans and their work and provide the market platform to these artisan through Handicrafts Development Centres, Artisin Villages,Women Rescuers Center,PHS and Exhibitions at different cities of Punjab. She discussed idea regarding the customized Authentic Handicrafts Souvenir display at Ministry of Foreign Affairs like PSIC,PHS, Souvenir Shop at Parliament House Islamabad. For the presentation of pakistan culture & crafts to dignitaries and ambassadors who visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also for convenience under the one roof master collection of pakistan handicrafts and customized souvenirs for Pakistan’s Foreign Mission abroad to prompt the Pakistani handicrafts and artisans

He has served as Deputy Commissioner Jhang prior to his posting.
