Heat stroke is a serious medical condition that occurs when the body's temperature regulation system is overloaded, causing the body temperature to rise rapidly. It is a life-threatening condition that requires immediate medical attention.

Symptoms of heat stroke include:

- High body temperature (usually above 103°F)
- Confusion or loss of consciousness
- Seizures or convulsions
- Dry, flushed skin with no sweating
- Rapid heartbeat
- Headache, fatigue, and weakness
- Nausea and vomiting

Heat stroke can be caused by:

- Prolonged exposure to high temperatures

- Underlying medical conditions

Treatment for heat stroke includes:

- Moving to a cool place
- Removing excess clothing
- Cooling the body with water or ice packs
- Providing cool water to drink
