Born in 1910, got my L.L.B degree in 1932 and started practice in Jalandhar City along with my father.

Moved to Lyallpur (Faisalabad) after partition and joined Government service.

Appointed District Judge in 1950, Registrar Lahore High Court from 1958 to 1960 and Law Secretary in 1961.

Got transferred to Peshawar High Court in 1963 and remained a Judge till 1970 when I was made the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court (From 1.7.1970 - 24.5.1972).

I finally retired from Government service in 1973 and shifted to Lahore permanently.

I was also awarded Sitara-e-Pakistan medal by the President/Government of Pakistan for my service to Pakistan.

After retirement I continued to work privately as an Arbitrator.

I was also chosen as a member of Majlis-e-Shura (Pakistan Parliament) in the eighties.
