TEVTA Punjab Participates in Magnificent Punjab Tourism and Investment Expo 2026.

TEVTA Punjab showcased its brands "Meraki" and "Creative Hands" at the Magnificent Punjab Tourism and Investment Expo 2026, being held on April 28-29, 2026 at Expo Centre Lahore.

The Expo was inaugurated by Senior Minister Punjab Maryam Aurangzeb, alongside Ali Dar, Adviser on AI to the Chief Minister Punjab, Minister of Education Punjab Rana Sikandar Hayat, Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman, and representatives of relevant departments.

TEVTA Punjab demonstrated a strong commitment to addressing the future needs of the hospitality and tourism sector at both national and international levels. Through the introduction of a state-of-the-art training facility, TEVTA is actively fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among its students. The "Creative Hands" platform provided students with a valuable opportunity to display their skills, engage with industry experts, and gain real-world exposure that broadens their professional horizons.

The TEVTA stall is attracting significant interest from visitors throughout the Expo.

Healthcare Assistant Training Initiative Launched in Lahore.

TEVTA's flagship "Caring Hands" program has been officially inaugurated at GTTI, Gujjarpura, Lahore, to bridge critical gaps in healthcare workforce. This initiative is designed to combat national and international Healthcare Assistant shortages through world-class skill development.

Minister for Primary & Secondary Healthcare Punjab Khawaja Imran Nazeer and Chairman TEVTA Brig. Muhammad Sajid Khokhar, SI(M), Retd., Inagurated the pilot project along with Chairperson of the CM Task Force on Skills Development Adnan Afzal Chattha, Focal Person Salma Saadia Taimur, Secretary of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Nadir Chattha, COO TEVTA Faisal Fareed,DG ops II Amir Aziz and leadership from TT care and Hunar Foundation.

Chairman TEVTA highlighted that the six-month course is conducted in both morning and evening shifts to accommodate working individuals and students. Participants will complete 04 months of classroom training followed by 02 months of practical hands-on training in major hospitals. TEVTA has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with these hospitals to ensure quality practical experience and facilitate employment opportunities for graduates.

Minister Khawaja Imran Nazeer emphasized that healthcare assistants represent a vital addition to the healthcare sector. Following the successful completion of this pilot project in Lahore and Gujranwala, the program will be expanded across Punjab to meet growing healthcare assistant demands. The Ministry of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Punjab has committed full support to TEVTA for implementing and scaling this critical initiative.
