It was an honor for Chairperson Child Protection Bureau,MPA Sarah Ahmad (T.I) to meet the German Ambassador to Pakistan Ina Lepel and discuss child protection, child rights, and social welfare initiatives.

Chairperson Child Protection & Welfare Bureau and MPA Punjab, Sarah Ahmad (T.I), appeared on ARY News to discuss the tragic incident involving the alleged sexual violence and death of a female domestic worker in Model Town, Lahore.
During the discussion, she reaffirmed that children and women are the red line of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and that their protection, dignity, and well-being must remain a top priority at all levels.
Sarah Ahmad strongly condemned the incident and highlighted the urgent need to address the gaps and vulnerabilities that leave children at risk of abuse and exploitation. She stressed the importance of prevention, early intervention, and strengthening child protection mechanisms to safeguard children from violence and ensure access to justice.
She further emphasized that such cases should be referred to the Crime Control Department (CCD) and underscored the responsibility of all concerned authorities and institutions to ensure justice, accountability, and effective action so that similar incidents can be prevented in the future.
