🌿 Tree Plantation Drive in Collaboration with DHL 🌿

Yesterday at 1:00 PM, a Tree Plantation Drive was held at QIE in collaboration with DHL. President QIE, Mian Nauman Kabir, led the event and emphasized the importance of tree plantation for a greener and healthier environment.

Sr. Estate Manager proposed an MoU with DHL to make the industrial estate greener and help reduce smog effects. DHL officials also visited the Urban Forest at QIE Park, where plants grown six months ago are now turning into trees.

President QIE planted the first tree, followed by DHL officials. Board Member Mr. Muhammad Saeed offered a prayer, and light refreshments were served at the QIE office.

President QIE also directed to form two teams for continued plantation at Malik Kanda Road and QIE Gate #6.

6 ستمبر پاکستان میں 'یومِ دفاع' کے طور پر منایا جاتا ہے۔ اس دن کی اہمیت 1965 کی پاک بھارت جنگ سے وابستہ ہے، جب بھارتی افواج نے رات کے اندھیرے میں پاکستان پر حملہ کیا تھا۔
یہ دن پاکستانی عوام اور مسلح افواج کی جانب سے غیر معمولی جرات، بہادری اور قربانی کی یاد دلاتا ہے۔ اس دن پوری قوم متحد ہو کر دشمن کے مذموم عزائم کو ناکام بنانے کے لیے کھڑی ہوئی۔ اس جنگ میں
یہ ثابت ہوا کہ جنگیں عوام اور فوج کے متحد ہو کر لڑنے سے ہی جیتی جا سکتی ہیں۔

اس جنگ میں افواج پاکستان نے نہ صرف دشمن کے حملے کو پسپا کیا بلکہ اس کے غرور کو بھی خاک میں ملا دیا۔
یہ دن ان تمام شہیدوں اور غازیوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرنے کا دن ہے
جنہوں نے وطن کے دفاع کے لیے اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔
