It was therefore necessary to transmit Extra High Voltage generated, to long distances spreading over thousands of kilometres, by putting up a well defined network of Transmission Lines across the country. Resultantly, many projects came up and Potential Engineers got the opportunity to enter the field of construction of Extra High Voltage Transmission Lines and related Distribution Network. With the passage of time Potential Engineers were pre-qualified as Prime Contractors for the construction of Transmission Lines, Sub-Stations and related Switchgear with Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA), an organization owned by the Government of Pakistan, responsible for power generation in the country. Potential Engineers over the years have successfully installed a number of 500 kV, 220 kV and 132 kV Transmission Lines and number of Sub-Stations for WAPDA (NTDC) and Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC), the second largest power producing facility in Pakistan based at Karachi. Thus Potential Engineers have emerged as a dependable company, not confined to power projects only, but also to handle High Tech Equipment and state of the art technology.
