تسلیم کوثر ان تمام خواتین کو ایک اہم اور متاثر کن پیغام دے رہی ہیں جو بند دروازوں کے پیچھے مشکلات کا سامنا کر رہی ہیں۔

انہوں نے اکیلے اپنے بچوں کی پرورش کی مشکلات کو سہا ہے اور اپنی بہنوں کے لیے ان کا مشورہ بہت سادہ ہے: کسی کی مدد کا انتظار نہ کریں۔ باہر نکلیں، اپنی زندگی کی باگ ڈور خود سنبھالیں اور معاشی طور پر خود مختار بنیں۔

جب ایک عورت بااختیار بنتی ہے، تو وہ اپنی پوری نسل کا مستقبل بدل دیتی ہے۔اپنی زندگی کی کسی ایسی مضبوط خاتون کو ٹیگ کریں جو کبھی ہار نہیں مانتیں!

اپنے شوہر کی وفات کے بعد، انہوں نے اپنے بچوں کے مستقبل کو محفوظ بنانے کے لیے بے پناہ مشکلات کا سامنا کیا۔ آج ان کے بچے این ای ڈی یونیورسٹی جیسے اعلیٰ تعلیمی اداروں میں پڑھ رہے ہیں اور میزان بینک میں کام کر رہے ہیں۔

اب ان کا ان تمام خواتین کے لیے ایک اہم پیغام ہے جو مشکلات کا شکار ہیں: "اپنے گھروں سے باہر نکلیں، کوئی ہنر سیکھیں، اور اپنے آپ کو بااختیار بنائیں۔"

Widowed 10 years ago, she refused to give up.

ہر ملازمت کے پیچھے ایک انسان ہے جو آمدنی حاصل کر رہا ہے، تجربہ حاصل کر رہا ہے، اپنے اعتماد میں اضافہ کر رہا ہے اور زیادہ خودمختاری کی طرف بڑھ رہا ہے۔

خواتین اور افرادِ باہم معذوری کے لیے روزگار کے مواقع صرف ایک نوکری نہیں، بلکہ بہتر مستقبل، معاشی خودمختاری اور نئے امکانات کے دروازے کھول سکتے ہیں۔

کیونکہ حقیقی اثر صرف اعداد و شمار میں نہیں ہوتا۔
اصل اثر اس تبدیلی میں ہے جو ان اعداد کے پیچھے پیدا ہوتی ہے۔

جب خواتین کو روزگار کے باعزت مواقع میسر آتے ہیں، تو ان کی صلاحیتیں صرف کام کی جگہ ہی نہیں بلکہ خاندان، معاشرے اور معیشت کو بھی مضبوط بنانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کرتی ہیں۔

وہ وہاں کام کر رہی ہیں جہاں شاید کسی نے ان سے توقع نہیں کی تھی۔
اور وہ اس صنعت کے مستقبل کی تشکیل میں اپنا کردار ادا کر رہی ہیں۔

Women are already playing an important role in Pakistan’s textile and fashion industry, from stitching and cutting to quality control and production.

When women have access to decent employment opportunities, their skills can contribute not only to the workplace, but also to stronger families, communities, and the wider economy.

She works where she wasn’t expected to and she is helping shape where the industry is going.

ٹیکسٹائل اور فیشن انڈسٹری میں خواتین کے لیے ایک اچھی ملازمت کا مطلب نئی مہارتیں سیکھنا، مالی خودمختاری حاصل کرنا، بہتر فیصلے کرنا اور اپنے مستقبل کو اپنی مرضی سے تشکیل دینے کا اعتماد حاصل کرنا بھی ہے۔

پنجاب کی ٹیکسٹائل انڈسٹری میں قانون کے مطابق 3 فیصد ملازمتیں معذور افراد (PWDs) کے لیے مختص کرنا ضروری ہے۔ جامع اور مساوی کام کی جگہیں وہ ہیں جہاں معذور افراد کو روزگار حاصل کرنے، کام کرنے اور آگے بڑھنے کے بامعنی مواقع میسر ہوں۔

ایک زیادہ جامع ٹیکسٹائل اور فیشن انڈسٹری کی بنیاد سب کے لیے روزگار کے مساوی مواقع فراہم کرنے سے بنتی ہے۔

Inclusion begins with access to opportunity.

In Punjab’s textile industry, 3% of the workforce is required by law to be reserved for persons with disabilities (PWDs). Creating inclusive workplaces means ensuring that persons with disabilities have meaningful opportunities to enter, participate, and grow in the workforce.

Women make up more than half of Pakistan’s population, yet their participation in the labour force remains significantly lower.

In 2022, women accounted for only 23.3% of Pakistan’s labour force. This gap highlights the need to create more opportunities for women to enter, remain, and grow in the workforce.

A more inclusive workforce means a stronger economy and greater opportunities for everyone.

پاکستان کی آبادی میں خواتین کی تعداد نصف سے زیادہ ہے، لیکن افرادی قوت میں ان کی شرکت اب بھی نمایاں طور پر کم ہے۔

2022 میں پاکستان کی افرادی قوت میں خواتین کا حصہ صرف 23.3 فیصد تھا۔ یہ فرق اس بات کو اجاگر کرتا ہے کہ خواتین کے لیے روزگار کے مواقع پیدا کرنے، انہیں کام کی جگہ پر برقرار رکھنے اور آگے بڑھنے کے مواقع فراہم کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔

زیادہ جامع افرادی قوت ایک مضبوط معیشت اور سب کے لیے بہتر مواقع کی بنیاد ہے.
