Positive Reinforcement is one of the most efficient techniques used in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy.
In easier words, positive reinforcement refers to adding something that the child likes into his/her environment after he/she has displayed a preferred behavior, in order to strengthen that specific behavior.
When a child demonstrates a desired behavior (anything you want the child to do) , it is followed by a desired stimulus (something that holds value to the child and is highly motivating for him/her) in order to increase the probability of that behavior to occur more in future and thus, retaining the behavior.
At Umatter, our main aim is to maintain a behavior in log run while making learning more fun, enjoyable and engaging.
