Today is dedicated to all those children with autism who are not different from this world they simply see it in their own unique way.Today is a celebration of their beautiful world, a world we have yet to fully understand.
Today is also a day to pay tribute to all those mothers who have devoted their lives to caring for their autistic children.
Autism is not a disease; it is a way of being.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, we are committed to bringing our world closer to theirs, creating a society where their emotions and feelings are understood and valued.
A Punjab where every child can proudly call it their own Maryam Nawaz School and Resource Center for Autism is the first step toward this vision.
Free therapies, free treatment, and above all, the reassurance that their Chief Minister stands with them are being provided.
On behalf of the Special Education Department, I reaffirm our commitment to making these children a part of the system not out of sympathy, but as a matter of right.
Because every child matters, and every child is an asset to our future.
