The first draft of Hazara University Act was prepared by Higher Education Department, NWFP and the University Grants Commission (Now Higher Education Commission) in 1995. Two years later, in 1997, the NWFP Provincial Assembly passed Hazara University Act in 1997 and Lt. (R) Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah Governor NWFP took the bold step of establishing Hazara University in the Neuropsychiatry Hospital, Dhodial, Mansehra, in 2002.

With extreme sorrow and broken heart it is to inform that our beloved friend Prof. Dr. Ali Bahader is no more with us.
May his soul find highest place in Jannah. Ameen
His funeral prayer will be offered today in Mardan (opposite sugar mill).
The janaza timing will be communicated once decided.

Admissions are open for Fall Semester 2024 in BS, MS/MPhil, and PhD programs.
Last Date for Online Apply is 5th August 2024.
Entry Test for MS/MPhil, PhD, and B.Arch. will be on 7th August 2024.
Hazara University believes in quality education and all the programs are accredited by their respective Councils.
