آج محکمہ فشریز ضلع مانسہرہ نے ایک غیر معمولی اور مثالی کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے ہزاروں قیمتی مچھلیوں کو ضائع ہونے سے بچا کر نہ صرف آبی حیات کے تحفظ بلکہ عوامی مفاد کیلئے ایک قابلِ ستائش اقدام انجام دیا۔
مورخہ 25/04/2026 کو ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر فشریز ضلع مانسہرہ کے نوٹس میں بذریعہ ناصر خان اے ڈی فشریز ایبٹ آباد یہ بات لائی گئی کہ بمقام ترھا بالا مانسہرہ واقع ایک پرائیویٹ کارپ فش فارم کے مالک مسمی محمد ایوب اپنے فارم میں موجود چائینہ کارپ نسل کے مکمل فش سٹاک کو ختم کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔
فارم مالک نے متعدد کوششوں کے باوجود مچھلیوں کی منتقلی میں کامیابی حاصل نہ ہونے پر تالابوں میں چونہ ڈال کر تمام سٹاک تلف کرنے کا ارادہ ظاہر کیا تاکہ تالابوں کی صفائی کے بعد نئے سرے سے فارم کو فعال بنایا جا سکے۔
جونہی اس صورتحال کا علم ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر فشریز کو ہوا تو انہوں نے فوری طور پر بذریعہ فون فارمر کو اس اقدام سے روکنے کی ہدایت کی اور مورخہ 26/04/2026 کو ذاتی طور پر فارم کا دورہ کرکے فارمر کو یقین دہانی کروائی کہ محکمہ فشریز اس قیمتی فش سٹاک کو محفوظ انداز میں منتقل کرنے کیلئے ہر ممکن تعاون فراہم کرے گا۔
بعد ازاں محکمہ فشریز کے عملے نے دو مرتبہ مزید فارم کا معائنہ کیا اور مکمل منصوبہ بندی، مشاورت اور تیاری کے بعد آج مورخہ 07/05/2026 کو ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر فشریز ضلع مانسہرہ بمعہ فشریز سٹاف ضروری سامان بشمول پانی نکاسی جنریٹرز، جال، آکسیجن سلنڈر، پولی تھین بیگز اور دیگر آلات کے ساتھ موقع پر پہنچے اور ریسکیو و منتقلی آپریشن کا آغاز کیا۔
اس کامیاب آپریشن کے مختلف مراحل درج ذیل رہے:
1️⃣ پہلے مرحلے میں تمام تالابوں کا پانی نکال کر فش سٹاک کو محفوظ طریقے سے قریبی نہری پانی میں جال نصب کرکے عارضی طور پر رکھا گیا۔
2️⃣ دوسرے مرحلے میں تمام مچھلیوں کو احتیاط کے ساتھ پولی تھین بیگز میں منتقل کرکے ان میں آکسیجن بھری گئی تاکہ دورانِ منتقلی مچھلیاں محفوظ رہیں۔
3️⃣ تیسرے مرحلے میں مچھلیوں کے ایک بڑے حصے کو شنکیاری شہر کی جامع مسجد کے قریب سرن ریور میں عوامی موجودگی میں سٹاک کیا گیا۔
اس موقع پر شنکیاری شہر کی معروف مذہبی و سماجی شخصیت، جامع مسجد کے خطیب اور سابق ناظم جناب مولانا قاضی وصی الرحمن صاحب کے ساتھ شہر کے عمائدین بھی موجود تھے۔
اس دوران ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر فشریز اور مولانا قاضی وصی الرحمن صاحب نے عوام الناس سے آبی حیات کے تحفظ، قدرتی وسائل کی اہمیت اور محکمہ فشریز کی ذمہ داریوں کے حوالے سے تفصیلی گفتگو بھی کی۔
4️⃣ چوتھے اور آخری مرحلے میں بڑے سائز کے فش سٹاک کو فشریز ضلع مانسہرہ کے اچھڑیاں کارپ یونٹ میں کامیابی سے منتقل و سٹاک کیا گیا۔
واضح رہے کہ منتقل کیے گئے فش سٹاک کی مجموعی تعداد تقریباً پندرہ , بیس ہزار کے لگ بھگ تھی جبکہ مچھلیوں کا اوسط سائز تقریباً آٹھ انچ تھا۔
بلاشبہ آج کا دن محکمہ فشریز ضلع مانسہرہ کیلئے ایک یادگار اور کامیاب دن ثابت ہوا جہاں نہایت قلیل وقت میں ایک ہی دن کے اندر کثیر المقاصد اور مؤثر کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کیا گیا۔
یہ سب اللہ تعالیٰ کی خاص مدد، ٹیم ورک، محنت اور خلوص کا نتیجہ ہے جو کراماتی انداز میں پایۂ تکمیل تک پہنچا۔
محکمہ فشریز ضلع مانسہرہ مستقبل میں بھی اسی جذبے، عزم اور لگن کے ساتھ آبی حیات کے تحفظ، فش فارمنگ کے فروغ اور عوامی خدمت کیلئے اپنی خدمات جاری رکھنے کیلئے پرعزم ہے۔

Alhamdulillah!
Today, the Fisheries Department District Mansehra demonstrated an extraordinary and exemplary performance by successfully rescuing and saving thousands of valuable fish from destruction — a highly commendable initiative for the protection of aquatic life and public benefit.
On 25/04/2026, it was brought to the notice of the Deputy Director Fisheries District Mansehra, through Mr. Nasir Khan, AD Fisheries Abbottabad, that a private carp fish farm located at Tarha Bala, Mansehra, owned by Mr. Muhammad Ayub, intended to completely eliminate its entire stock of Chinese Carp fish.
After several unsuccessful attempts to transfer the fish stock, the farm owner had decided to apply lime to the ponds and destroy the entire stock in order to clean the ponds and reactivate the farm from the beginning.
As soon as the Deputy Director Fisheries became aware of the situation, he immediately contacted the farmer by phone and instructed him not to take such action. Subsequently, on 26/04/2026, he personally visited the farm and assured the farmer that the Fisheries Department would provide every possible assistance to safely rescue and transfer the valuable fish stock.
Later, the Fisheries Department staff conducted two additional inspections of the farm. After thorough planning, consultation and preparation, today on 07/05/2026, the Deputy Director Fisheries District Mansehra, along with Fisheries staff and all necessary equipment including water drainage generators, fishing nets, oxygen cylinders, polythene bags, and other tools, reached the site and formally launched the rescue and transfer operation.
The successful operation was carried out in the following phases:
1️⃣ First Phase:
All ponds were drained carefully, and the fish stock was safely shifted into nearby canal water where protective nets had been installed for temporary holding.
2️⃣ Second Phase:
All fish were carefully packed into polythene bags filled with oxygen to ensure their safety during transportation.
3️⃣ Third Phase:
A major portion of the fish stock was released into the Siran River near the Jamia Mosque in Shinkiari City in the presence of the local public.
On this occasion, renowned religious and social personality of Shinkiari, Khateeb of the Jamia Mosque, and former Nazim, محترم Molana Qazi Wasi-ur-Rehman Sahib, along with other notable community members, were also present.
During the event, the Deputy Director Fisheries and Molana Qazi Wasi-ur-Rehman Sahib addressed the public regarding the importance of aquatic life conservation, natural resources protection and the responsibilities of the Fisheries Department.
4️⃣ Fourth & Final Phase:
The larger-sized fish stock was successfully transferred and stocked at the Ichrian Carp Unit of Fisheries Department District Mansehra.
It is worth mentioning that the total number of rescued and transferred fish stock was approximately 15,000–20,000 fish, with an average size of nearly 8 inches.
Undoubtedly, today proved to be a memorable and successful day for the Fisheries Department District Mansehra, where multiple objectives were achieved effectively within a very limited time and in a single day.
This success was only possible through the special blessings of Almighty Allah, teamwork, dedication, hard work and sincerity, which enabled the operation to be completed in a remarkable manner.
The Fisheries Department District Mansehra remains committed to continuing its efforts with the same spirit, determination, and dedication for the protection of aquatic life, promotion of fish farming and public service in the future as well.
