PRCS FAR Team Mirpur AJ&K

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in collaboration with Pakistan Red Crescent AJK and Health Department AJK successfully conducted a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Workshop at District Mirpur.

The workshop aimed to enhance preparedness, Response and coordination among stakeholders.

The workshop brought together participants from District Health Office Mirpur, Rescue 1122, Civil defence and the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Society AJK Sardar Shafique Ahmed Khan honoured the Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) workshop and lauded the humanitarian efforts of and reiterated to support these efforts in AJK through collaboration.

Sessions covered key topics such as triage systems, emergency response coordination, pre-hospital care, hospital surge capacity, communication protocols, and simulation-based exercises to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and role clarity during emergencies.

Total 20 volunteers engaged during the activity and thy perform in Moc drill jointly with other departments at DHQ Mirpur AJ&K

MCI activity organized by ICRs collaboration with PRCs and healthy department of DHQ hospital and KIC hospital at basement Hall Kashmir institute of Cardiology mirpur ajk 💜

Two days training held by Pakistan Red Crescent Team Mirpur AJ&K in Police Training College, Mirpur, AJ&K. In this training (dated 30-Nov to 1st Dec 2021), Police got trained for Basic First Aid.

In two days training approx. 115 Policemen participated. The training was provided by District First Aid Trainer (DFAT) of PRCS Madam Daboor Sultana accompanied by many PRCS Volunteers.
At the End of two-days training DIG Mirpur Division Ch Sajjad spoke to the gathering, he distributed certificates to the Policemen on the completion of their Basic First Aid Training and thanked to PRCS Team Mirpur. He acknowledged the efforts of PRCS and the value of Volunteers.
"Volunteers are an important part of a civilized society", He added.

At the end of training a simulation activity was performed in which a real-time response performed, Rescue 1122 Team also participated in this activity.

At the End the Principle of Police Training College, Mirpur thanked the whole PRCS Team.

Ashura Muharram Activity by First Aid Responders Team, District Mirpur.

Our hardworking FAR Team members and volunteers remained with the Ashura gatherings, Jalus the whole day and provided First Aid. Our FAR Team was also equipped with a latest well equipped ambulance to serve any emergency situation as well.
Alhamdulillah, our First Aid Responders and Volunteers managed the activity in the best possible way and facilitated the public with their best skills and professionalism.
We thank all our FAR Team and Volunteers for their dedication and hard work.

ڈائیلاسز سنٹر آمد پر صدر انجمن فلاح و بہبود انسانیت ڈاکٹر طاہر محمود و دیگر نے استقبال کیا، ڈاکٹر طاہر محمود نے دورے پر آئے مہمانوں کو ڈائیلاسز سنٹر میں دی جانے والی سہولیات کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا، دبور سلطانہ، جنید احمد نے ڈائیلاسز سنٹر کا دورہ کیا مریضوں کی عیادت کی ان سے علاج معالجہ کے حوالے سے دریافت کیا، ڈائیلاسز سنٹر کی دکھی انسانیت کی خدمت کو سراہا، ریڈ کریسنٹ کی جانب سے 30 PPE سوٹ فری کڈنی ڈائیلاسز سنٹر میرپور میں فراہم کیے اور آئندہ بھی اپنے بھرپور تعاون کی یقین دہانی کروائی۔۔!
