During his visit, he was given a detailed briefing about the institute’s role in the promotion of traditional Blue Pottery , and being implemented under TEVTA Punjab.
Mr. Muhammad Nouman Siddique highly appreciated the efforts of TEVTA IBPD Multan in preserving and promoting this traditional art. He acknowledged the quality of work being produced at the institute and encouraged the management to further strengthen such initiatives for the promotion of cultural heritage.

Dr. Sarah Holz, from Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, visited the TEVTA Institute of Blue Pottery Development (IBPD), Multan and expressed her deep appreciation for the rich heritage, craftsmanship, and artistic excellence of Pakistani Blue Pottery.

During her visit, she interacted with students and faculty, observed the production process, and admired the intricate designs and quality of work being produced at IBPD. Dr. Sarah Holz highly appreciated the efforts of the institute in preserving and promoting this traditional craft at national and international levels.

was observed on at Institute of Blue Pottery Development (IBPD), Multan with active participation of students.
The students delivered speeches highlighting the importance of the day and expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
The Muhammad Tariq Jamil, Project Director addressed the students and delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing unity, awareness, and national responsibility. The event concluded in a respectful and meaningful environment, promoting patriotism and social awareness among the students.
A solidarity walk was also arranged in which students and faculty participated enthusiastically to show unity and support.

During her visit, she toured the production facility and showroom and interacted with the students, appreciating their skills and creativity. She showed keen interest in the traditional Tevta Bluepottery manufacturing process and acknowledged IBPD’s efforts in promoting heritage craftsmanship and Technical Education under TEVTA.

Multan students visited AA Coating Industry, Multan as part of their industrial exposure program to better understand surface finishing, glazing techniques, and quality control processes relevant to applied design and craft industries. During the visit, students observed industrial coating methods, material preparation, firing/curing processes, and safety standards.

The exposure helped students relate industrial coating concepts to blue pottery glazing, including surface treatment, color consistency, durability, defect control, and finishing quality.

Such industrial visits strengthen the connection between traditional blue pottery skills and contemporary industrial practices, enabling students to innovate, improve product quality, and enhance market readiness for the craft sector.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT AT TAIBA SOFTWARE HOUSE Multan

Students of IBPD Multan visited Taiba Software House Multan. The visit was designed to provide students with practical insight into the software industry and help them understand how theoretical knowledge is applied in real-world projects. During the visit, students were briefed on modern software development practices, emerging technologies, workplace culture, and career opportunities in the IT sector.

Institute of Blue Pottery Development (IBPD) Multan organized a Christian Fraternity Celebration to honor the values of unity, peace, and mutual respect. Faculty members and staff participated in the event, creating an atmosphere of harmony and inclusivity.

The celebration included a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing togetherness and shared joy. The Regional Director South TEVTA also participated in the event, encouraging and appreciating the spirit of fraternity demonstrated by the IBPD community.

A Day of Discovery: Students of Learner’s Castle School Explore Multani Blue Pottery

Learner’s Castle School students enjoyed an exciting trip to TEVTA Institute of Blue Pottery (IBPD) Multan to witness the timeless craft of Multani Blue Pottery (Kashigari). From watching clay being molded to seeing artisans hand-paint stunning cobalt-blue designs, the children experienced the entire process of this beautiful heritage art.

They observed raw materials, molding techniques, detailed hand-painting, and finally the vibrant glazed pieces displayed in the showroom. This trip offered a meaningful lesson in culture, craftsmanship, and the rich history of Multan.

We were pleased to host a delegation from Istanbul Bilgi University, Turkey, at TEVTA Institute of Blue Pottery Development (IBPD) Multan on 22.11.2025.

During their tour, the delegation:
🔹 Visited our production section, where they observed the complete process of Multani blue pottery — from clay preparation to hand-painting and glazing.
🔹 Interacted with our skilled artisans, gaining insight into the traditional techniques that have been preserved and practiced for generations.
🔹 Explored the IBPD Showroom, where they deeply admired the and reflected in each piece.

The guests expressed great appreciation for the hard work, dedication and creativity of our artisans. Their encouraging feedback reinforced our mission to preserve and promote Pakistan’s cultural heritage.

Today (04.11.2025) TEVTA Institute of Blue Pottery Development (IBPD), Multan, had the honor of hosting 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐥𝐟𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐊𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚, 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚.

During his visit, the Ambassador toured the institute’s Blue Pottery production facilities, observing every stage of the process — from raw material preparation to glazing and firing. He expressed deep appreciation for the skill, creativity, and cultural significance embodied in Multani Blue Pottery, a timeless art form representing the rich heritage of the region.

His Excellency also engaged with students and artisans, commending their dedication and encouraging them to preserve this traditional craft while integrating innovation and modern design. The Ambassador particularly admired the display of Blue Pottery masterpieces, which beautifully showcased a fusion of tradition and contemporary aesthetics.

The Ambassador shared his kind remarks and appreciation in the visitor’s book, expressing admiration for the skill, dedication, and cultural significance upheld by IBPD Multan.
