We are sorry to be the bearers of sad news, but EX Deputy Director, Mr. Abdul Raheem Khoso passed away today due to heart attack.

The meeting Departmental Promotion Committee of STEVTA was held today under the Chairmanship of Mr Muhammad Mureed Rahimoon Secretary Universities and Boards Department to consider the promotion cases of Assistants to the post of Administrative Officer/Accounts Officer/Store Purchase Officer and Lecturers as Assistant Professors( Technical and Related Studies).

The Committee after going through relevant record, considered these cases in detail and cleared promotion of 54 Assistants to the post of Administrative Officer/Accounts Officer/Store Purchase Officer(BS-16).
The Committee also considered the cases of promotion of Lecturers(BS-17) for the post Of Assistant Professors(BS-18) relating to Technical and Related Studies Subjects. The Committee after scrutiny cleared 56 lecturers of Technical side of different technologies and 5 of Related Studies to the post of Assistant Professor(BS-18).

Today on 17.11.2022, a ceremony for distribution of offer letters for appointment of sons, daughters and widows of deceased employees of STEVTA was held at STEVTA Headquarter Karachi. Honourable Chairperson was the Chief Guest of this ceremony. He appreciated the hard work and efforts of MD STEVTA and his team for completing this task which was pending and long. He also expressed his thanks to those legal heirs who came to receive the offer letters and apologised for delay.
Total 88 offer letters were distributed amongst the legal heirs/ children of deceased employees. The honourable Chairperson informed the participants that the cases financial assistance have been disposed of and remaining pending cases of legal heirs of deceased will also be finalised on priority basis for which he directed concerned team to get the exercise completed as earlier as possible.
