OKARA Forest Division

A General meeting (Darbar) of Field & Ministerial staff was held today at Depalpur Plantation, Piplipahar. The basic purpose was to convey the various directions received from higher offices to all the tiers of colleagues and to listen the reservations/suggestions from the staff. General discussion and question answer session was also the part of this Darbar. I hope that in the light of this exercise the Okara Forest Division will excel in all aspects of the Department.

Farewell arranged today in honor of Mr. Niaz Ahmad on his well deserved promotion and posting as Range Forest Officer Alipur Range Muzaffargarh.
Congratulations ceremony was also arranged today on well deserved promotion of Mr. Liaqat Ali from Forest Guard to Forester of Okara Forest Division.

Saplings of Bhudha tree (Chorisia speciosa) were planted today at the eve of Defense day of Pakistan in memory of great martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our beloved homeland. Allah Almighty may bless their souls with eternal peace and treat this noble deed for them as Sadqa-e-Jaaria. Aameen.

A meeting of Departmental Promotion Committee was held today after 8 years, to promote Forest Guards (BS-09) to the rank of Foresters (BS-11), under the chairmanship by Muhammad Naseer-ul-Haq Divisional Forest Officer Okara.Only one Forest Guard fulfilled the strong departmental criteria.The committee unanimously recommended his promotion to the rank of Forester (BS-11) on regular basis.

Congratulations 👏👏👏👏 to Mr. Liaqat Ali Forest Guard on his well deserved promotion.This Department hopes that he will continue to serve the Forest Department in more efficient way.

Excellent Growth of Shisham & Mulberry in Cpt. 137 of Depalpur Plantation of Okara Forest Division. The afforestation was carried out on World Women Day 8th March 2024. All the credit goes to Depalpur Plantation team led by Mirza Sabir Hussain, RFO.
