On the directives of the DG Environment, a joint press conference was held by the Assistant Director EPA Okara, along with the Plastic Bag Traders Association. It was announced that the manufacturing and sale of single-use plastic items below 75 microns is strictly banned. Effective enforcement will be carried out to support Punjab’s transition to a plastic-free zone.
