PESCO Holds Welcome Ceremony for Newly Inducted Officers

PESCO organized a welcome ceremony at the PESCO Head Office for newly inducted officers following the successful completion of a transparent and merit-based recruitment process for various vacant positions, including Sub Divisional Officers (SDOs), Revenue Officers, Accounts Officers, and other key posts.

The ceremony was graced by Chairman Board of Directors PESCO, Himayatullah Khan, along with CEO PESCO Akhtar Hamid Khan, Director General HR, Siab Ahmed, Manager HR, Zahoor ur Rehman, Manager T&D, Sher Afgan and other senior officers of the company.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairman BOD PESCO Himayatullah Khan warmly welcomed the newly appointed officers and congratulated them on their success. He also appreciated Director General HR and his team for completing the recruitment process with transparency, merit, and professionalism.

CEO PESCO Akhtar Hamid Khan, while speaking on the occasion, said that the best candidates had been selected for these important positions after a competitive process. He expressed hope that the newly inducted officers would work with dedication, honesty, and commitment for the betterment and progress of the company.

Director General HR PESCO, Siab Ahmed shared details of the recruitment process and informed the participants that a total of 2,354 candidates had applied online for the vacant positions. Out of these, only 197 candidates successfully cleared the examination. In compliance with the prescribed rules and regulations, 163 candidates were called for interviews, and finally, 78 candidates were issued offer letters strictly on merit

پاور ڈویژن کی درخواست پر نیپرا نے 25کلوواٹ اور اس سے کم سولر صارفین کیلئے لائسنس کی شرط ختم کردی ۔

1. کسی بھی ریٹائرڈ ملازم یا غیر مجاز شخص کو دفاتر کے احاطے میں بیٹھنے یا کسی سرکاری معاملے کو نمٹانے کی اجازت نہیں ہوگی۔
2. کسی بھی غیر مجاز فرد کو دفتر کی جانب سے کسی بھی حیثیت میں صارفین سے رابطہ کرنے کی اجازت نہیں ہوگی۔
3. تمام سرکاری امور صرف مجاز افسران/اہلکاروں کے ذریعے سختی سے نمٹائے جائیں گے۔
4. سرکاری کام میں غیر مجاز افراد کے داخلے اور شمولیت کو روکنے کے لیے مناسب انتظامی کنٹرول اور نگرانی کی جائے گی۔
5. ان ہدایات کی کسی بھی خلاف ورزی کی صورت میں، متعلقہ افسر/اہلکار کو ذاتی طور پر ذمہ دار ٹھہرایا جائے گا، اور متعلقہ قواعد کے تحت تادیبی کارروائی شروع کی جائے گی۔

ان ہدایات کو تمام ماتحت دفاتر میں حرف بہ حرف سختی سے عمل درآمد کے لیے جاری کیا جائے۔

یہ مجاز اتھارٹی کی منظوری سے جاری کیا گیا ہے۔

گزشتہ سال اپریل میں پن بجلی سے تقریباً 3200 میگاواٹ اور ایل این جی سے 3000 میگاواٹ بجلی حاصل ہو رہی تھی، جبکہ فرنس آئل کا استعمال کم رکھا گیا تاکہ بجلی مہنگی نہ ہو۔
موجودہ حالات میں پیداوار میں کمی کے باعث تقریباً 3400 میگاواٹ کا شارٹ فال سامنے آیا ہے۔
سسٹم کو متوازن رکھنے کے لیے ہر 500 سے 600 میگاواٹ شارٹ فال پر تقریباً ایک گھنٹہ لوڈ مینجمنٹ کی جاتی ہے، جس کے باعث اس وقت 6 سے 7 گھنٹے تک لوڈ مینجمنٹ کرنا پڑ رہی ہے۔
