The Directorate of Professional Development (DPD) has unveiled a comprehensive training schedule for school leaders (BPS-16), designed to enhance their leadership and administrative skills. The program is set to commence on 25th August and will run until 20th December, spanning four months of intensive learning and practical application. Each month follows a structured format, beginning with five days of face-to-face training at the Regional Professional Development Center (RPCD), where participants will engage in workshops, seminars, and collaborative discussions led by expert facilitators. Following the classroom sessions, school leaders will embark on ten days of fieldwork, allowing them to apply newly acquired skills in real-world settings, address challenges, and implement best practices within their respective institutions. The DPD emphasizes that this initiative aligns with broader reforms to elevate the quality of education through empowered leadership. By December, attendees will have completed 20 days of face-to-face training and 40 days of fieldwork, culminating in a certification ceremony recognizing their commitment to professional growth. This initiative reflects the government’s dedication to institutional capacity-building and underscores the pivotal role of school leaders in shaping future generations. The DPD encourages all eligible School Leaders to seize this opportunity for career advancement and systemic impact.
