Quality Assurane Cell Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkwa in collaboration with QEC University of Peshawar organize Joint meeting of all 52 Convenors of curriculum reviews committes for Uniformity and standardization of BS and Associate degree program for all KP universities and colleges under HEC Islamabad guidelines. Dr Muhammad Israr Secretary Higher Education KP was a chief guest in the occasion where as it was attended by Prof Dr Johar Ali VC University of Peshawar, Prof Dr Rashid Ahmed VC University of Malakand, Prof Dr Jehanzaib VC UST Bannu, Prof Dr Sardar Khan, VC University of Shangla, Prof Dr Usman Ghani Director IMSciences Peshawar, ex VCs , Senior Dean and Faculty members from across KP universities who worked as convenor of their subjects. Meeting was also attend by HED KP core committee of curriculum. Dr Imran Ullah Marwat Director Quality Assurane HED welcome all participants for attending the meeting. Dr Johar Ali VC University of Peshawar highlight the importance of uniformity and standardization for KP Universities and colleges. Hidayat Ullah Kasi deputy director academic HEC Islamabad give detail presentation on HEC undergraduate education policy and National curriculum review committees role. Secretary Higher Education in his speech appreciate all the convenor of the committees for their hardwork. He assured full support of KP government to streamline higher education with the support and consultation of academicians. Convenors of the committee were directed to submit their final draft by 10th January 2026 so that same can be review by core committee of HED for onward approval from KP government.

HEC Islamabad 3 days Quality Assurance Program Review meeting for Director QEC of all KP Universities along with Leadership Engagement for Transforming Q.A Systems in Pakistan started at CECOS university Peshawar. Chief Guest of the ceremony was attended by Dr Muhammad Israr, Secretary Higher Education KP and attended by Prof Dr Zia ul Haq Executive Director HEC Islamabad, Director General Q.A HEC Nasir Shah, Vice Chancellors of all KP Universities, Senior management of Higher Education KP and Universities. Purpose of the meeting is to take all stakeholders on board on revise quality assurance framework. Secretary HED appreciated the efforts of HEC QA team for such initiative.

Detail presentation to Secretary HED KP Dr Muhammad Israr regarding Quality Assurane activities in KP universities and colleges. Various issues of academic and governance were discus. Secretary HED assure full support and commitment in uplifting quality education in KP institutions.

Training on "Equipping Teachers to Foster Learning Skills in Students"
A 2-day training titled "Equipping Teachers to foster learning skills in Students" was conducted by Post Secondary Education Reform Unit (PERU) under Higher Education Development Project (HEDP) of HEC Islamabad on 13-14 February 2025 at HEC Regional Centre Peshawar in collaboration with QAC HED Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Training was attended by 42 college teachers from 11 colleges across KP. The main objective of the training was to train teachers in information management skills, communication skills and problem solving skills. Contents of the workshop had been prepared in the light of a national study conducted with undergraduate students which revealed serious learning gaps in students' skills' repertoire in the aforementioned areas.

Resource persons for the 2-day workshop were Prof. Dr. Kashif Suhail Malik, consultant IIUI Islamabad and Dr. Karim Ullah from IMSciences Peshawar.

Both days of the workshop were full of activities. Sessions were interactive and engaging.
The opening ceremony was graced by Dr. Imran Ullah Marwat ( Director Quality Assurance HED KP), Nasir Shah DG HEC regional center Peshawar. The closing ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman, Advisor Quality Assurance HED KP Peshawar
Teachers were equipped on three important learning skills through various activities.
These teachers were directed to prepare students of their respective colleges in the mentioned skills.
Training was facilitated and coordinated by Shahrukh Irshad, Assistant Program Specialist, Post-Secondary Education Reform Unit (PERU) at HEC Islamabad.

منصوبے کے تحت 80 سرکاری کالجوں میں 10 کے وی اے سولر سسٹم کی تنصیب کا عمل شروع کیا گیا ہے

جن میں سے اب تک 10 کالجوں کی سولرائزیشن مکمل کر لی گئی ہے

فی کالج 10 کے وی اے سولر سسٹم کی تنصیب کی کل لاگت 24 لاکھ 10 ہزار روپے ہے

سولر سسٹم کی تنصیب سے ماہانہ 11 سے 12 ہزار تک بجلی کے یونٹس کے استعمال میں کمی آئے گی

سولر سسٹم کی تنصیب سے بجلی کے بل کی مد میں ہر کالج کو ماہانہ 55 ہزار روپے بچت ہوگی

3 سال سے بھی کم صرعے میں اس سولر سسٹم کی لاگت پوری ہو جائیگی
