عید کی خوشیاں زمونگ کور پشاور کے بچوں کے ساتھ

سیکرٹری محکمہ سماجی بہبود، خصوصی تعلیم و خواتین بااختیاری، حکومت خیبر پختونخوا، Sharif Hussain نے اپنی ٹیم کے ہمراہ Zamung Kor کے بچوں کے ساتھ عید کی خوشیاں منائیں۔

اس موقع پر انہوں نے بچوں میں عیدی اور تحائف تقسیم کیے، جس سے بچوں کے چہروں پر خوشی اور مسرت نمایاں تھی۔ بچوں نے عید کی تقریبات میں بھرپور جوش و خروش کے ساتھ شرکت کی اور سیکرٹری صاحب و ان کی ٹیم کے ساتھ یادگار وقت گزارا۔

سیکرٹری سماجی بہبود نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ محکمہ معاشرے کے محروم اور نادار بچوں کی فلاح و بہبود، تعلیم، تحفظ اور خوشحال مستقبل کے لیے اپنی کاوشیں جاری رکھے گا۔

The Social Welfare, Special Education & Women Empowerment Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with technical support from the UNFPA Pakistan and Strengthening Participatory Organization , officially launched the 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐎𝐏𝐬) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐫-𝐮𝐥-𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 at a landmark ceremony in Peshawar on 19th May, 2026.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Shareef Hussain, Secretary, Social Welfare, Special Education & Women Empowerment Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as the Chief Guest. In his remarks, he emphasized that sustainable development cannot be achieved while women remain vulnerable to violence and inequality and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to institutionalizing these SOPs across all provincial institutions.

Mr. Khalid Zaman, Director, Social Welfare Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, warmely Welcomed the Participants for joining the important event which shows their commitment towards women Protection and Empowerment.

Syeda Nudrat, Gender Specialist Social Welfare Department stated that the SOPs institutionalize a promise to the women of the province by ensuring that no survivor is turned away and that every Dar-ul-Aman becomes a true House of Peace.

Ms. Mahjabeen Qazi, Head of UNFPA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, highlighted that the adoption of formal SOPs marks a transformative shift from ad hoc responses to a structured, survivor-centered, and connected care approach, ensuring that women fleeing violence receive predictable and dignified support.

Dr. Tufail Muhammad, Board Member of SPO, noted that the SOPs are the result of months of collaboration, field insights, and survivor voices. He called for their effective implementation across all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Ms. Rozina Rehman, District and Sessions Judge, Peshawar High Court, welcomed this milestone and stressed the importance of accountability and implementation to ensure that the SOPs translate into practical protection for survivors.

The newly launched SOPs establish a comprehensive, survivor-centered framework to standardize service delivery across all Dar-ul-Amans and Women Crisis Centers in the province. They provide clear guidance on intake procedures, case management, psychosocial support, legal assistance, referral pathways, confidentiality, safety protocols, rehabilitation, and interdepartmental coordination.
Developed through extensive consultations with government stakeholders, the judiciary, civil society organizations, and gender-based violence experts, these SOPs represent a major step toward institutionalizing quality, accountability, and rights-based protection services for women and girls affected by gender-based violence.
Together, Social Welfare Department with Stakeholders are building stronger systems that protect, empower, and restore dignity to women and girls across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

آج مورخہ 14/05/2026 کو ضلعی افیسر محکمہ سماجی بہبود ایبٹ اباد سید صابر شاہ کی زیرِنگرانی باھم معذور افراد کی فلاح و بہبود کیلیے میٹنگ ضلعی دفتر محکمہ سماجی ایبٹ اباد میں منعقد کیا گیا۔
میٹنگ میں ضلع بھر میں باھم معذور کی فلاح کیلیے کام کرنے والی سماجی تنظیموں اور شخصیات نے شرکت کی۔
میٹنگ میں باھم معذور کے مشترکہ مساٸل جس میں دو فیصد ملازمت کیلیے مختص کوٹہ، سفری کرایہ میں رعایت، پبلک عمارات میں معذور افراد کی رساٸی کیلیے ریمپ وغیرہ اور ہنرمند معذور افراد کیلیے روزگا کے مواقع پیدا کرنے جیسے اھم مساٸل پر تفصیل سے بات ھوٸی اور تمام شرکا نے اس ضمن میں اپنی مفید آرا سے اگاہ کیا۔۔
اس سلسلے ضلعی افیسر محکمہ سماجی بہبود جلد اک لاٸحہ عمل مرتب کرکے ضروری اقدامات اٹھاۓ گا تاکہ باھم معذور افراد کے درینا مساٸل عملی طور حل ھوسکیں۔۔اس موقع پر ضلعی افیسر نے اس امید کا بھی اظہار کیا کہ محکمہ اور سماجی شخصیات/تنظیموں کی مسلسل مربوط کاوشوں سے بڑی حد معذور افراد کے مساٸل ھوسکیں گے.

inlight of good governance roadmap of provincial government,Director social welfare Mr khalid zaman paid suprise visit to Darulamn haripur and Rehabilitation Center for drugs Addicts swabi, on dated 8th may 2026 friday, where he inspected different facilites and services provided in the said service delivery units, necessary instructions were issued on the spot,regarding any deficiences, overall services provided there were satisfactory.
Director also held meeting with Deputy Commissioneer swabi regarding some outstanding issues related to Social Welfare swabi,where DC swabi assured his full copreation.

روشن مستقبل کارڈ کے ذریعے مستحق یتیم بچوں کو ماہانہ مالی معاونت فراہم کی جارہی ہے تاکہ وہ تعلیم، صحت اور روزمرہ ضروریات بہتر انداز میں پوری کرسکیں۔

شفاف اور ریکارڈ بیسڈ نظام کے تحت امداد کی فراہمی حکومت کے عوامی فلاحی وژن کی عکاس ہے۔

•خیبر پختونخوا کے تمام اضلاع سے اب تک مستفید ہونے والے بچوں کی تعداد: 7,563
• اب تک مجموعی اخراجات: 378.15 ملین روپے

The Center of Excellence for Special Children with Autism in Peshawar celebrated its third anniversary with great enthusiasm marking the completion of three successful years of devoted and unwavering quality services to children with autism spectrum disorder. The center is first of its kind government-run autism center in Pakistan which provides free of cost quality therapeutic services to children with autism.
Mr. Muhammad Khalid Zaman, Director Social Welfare, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa honored the Center with his presence in the Cake Cutting Ceremony. Ms. Shazia Gul, Principal SEC Peshawar and Syeda Nudrat, Gender Specialist also graced the event with their presence. Mr. Rizwan Ahmad, Project Director and the entire staff are truly thankful for their participation and encouragement.
On the occasion, the staff expressed their sincere appreciation to the Project Director for his continuous support and leadership, which made this celebration possible and successful.
That was indeed a very positive and memorable day for everyone.

Mr. Muhammad Khalid Zaman, Director, Social Welfare, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited Special Education Complex (SEC), Peshawar today. He was warmly received by the management of SEC Peshawar. A Two-day Free Dental Checkup Camp (6-7 May 2026) organized by Sardar Begum Dental College Peshawar under an MoU signed by Mr. Muhammad Khalid Zaman as Director Social Welfare, where around 600 students with disabilities were screened in 2 days and those cases which needed proper checkup were referred for free treatment to Sardar Begum Dental College Peshawar. The Hon'ble Director Social Welfare also visited all the component Sections of SEC Peshawar and gave his inputs for improvement of the services provided to children with disabilities. He met representatives of Sarhad Rural Support Program (SRSP) and Human Appeal Peshawar Office regarding starting skill trainings for persons with disabilities at the Vocational Training Centre for Differently-abled Persons (VTCDP) of SEC Peshawar. All the parties discussed and agreed on various aspects of the skill trainings, with the hope to start the trainings from next week.

سوشل ویلفیئر، اسپیشل ایجوکیشن اینڈ ویمن ایمپاورمنٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ، حکومت خیبر پختونخوا کے زیر اہتمام ڈائریکٹوریٹ میں خواتین رہنماؤں کے لیےتنظیمی ترقی اور انتظامی امور کے موضوع پر دو روزہ تربیتی پروگرام کامیابی سے منعقد کیا گیا، جس میں سرکاری افسران اور این جی اوز کے نمائندگان نے شرکت کی۔ اس تربیت کا مقصد خواتین کی قیادت کی صلاحیتوں کو بہتر بنانا، ادارہ جاتی نظم و نسق کو مضبوط کرنا اور مؤثر فیصلہ سازی کو فروغ دینا تھا۔

تربیت کے دوران شرکاء کو اسٹریٹجک پلاننگ، ٹیم مینجمنٹ، مؤثر ابلاغ اور ادارہ جاتی ترقی جیسے اہم موضوعات پر عملی رہنمائی فراہم کی گئی۔ تربیت کی انٹرایکٹو نوعیت نے سرکاری افسران اور این جی او نمائندگان کو باہمی تجربات کے تبادلے اور جدید انتظامی طریقوں کو سمجھنے کا موقع فراہم کیا۔

ڈائریکٹر سوشل ویلفیئر، خالد زمان نے اس موقع پر اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس نوعیت کی تربیتیں نوجوان قیادت کے کیریئر کی ترقی کے لیے نہایت اہم ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ خواتین کی قیادت میں سرمایہ کاری بہتر طرزِ حکمرانی اور زیادہ مؤثر اور جامع خدمات کی فراہمی میں کلیدی کردار ادا کرتی ہے.
