Meeting Regarding Progress of RAM in C&W Department
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Secretary, C&W Department, to review the progress of Road Asset Management (RAM) in the C&W Department.
During the meeting, M/s Pavron presented the development status of the database and dashboard. It was informed that the attribute data of 11 districts has been completed and successfully uploaded to the dashboard.
The progress was reviewed in detail, and further directions were discussed for timely completion of the remaining work.

Progress review meeting regarding Good Governance Road Map under the Chairmanship of the Worthy Secretary C&W along with the Additional Secretary (Admin), Chief Engineer, MD PKHA, Director and Deputy Director

The worthy Secretary, C&W Department KPK, along with the Superintending Engineer, C&W Circle Peshawar, visited various ongoing development projects in District Nowshera.

During the visit, he was briefed by XEN Building Division Nowshera and XEN Highway Division Nowshera regarding the scope, progress, and technical details of the following projects:

* ADP No. 524/220172 – Rehabilitation/Retrofitting of NRC Godowns, Azakhel
* ADP No. 248/100350 – Establishment of 04 Excise Offices, District Nowshera
* Construction of Excise Office, Nowshera
* ADP No. 160622 – Widening of Pirpiai Village Road

Later, The worthy Secretary inaugurated a tree plantation drive by planting a sapling at Kund Rest House, Nowshera.

The Secretary Communication & Works (C&W), while briefing the media, stated that the department was well prepared and equipped to handle the recent snowfall emergency. All machinery was operational and contractors were mobilized promptly to ensure immediate snow clearance. The entire team remained on high alert 24/7, with senior officers including Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers, and the Managing Director PKHA personally supervising operations in the field. The department maintained continuous coordination across the province, from North to South, monitoring all major roads. He further highlighted that the C&W Department’s Damage Management Information System (DMIS) provides comprehensive, real-time records of road conditions and clearance activities, ensuring efficient response and transparent reporting.
