Scholarship Distribution Ceremony 2026 Held at GPI Sardar Garhi Peshawar
A Scholarship Distribution Ceremony 2026 of Al-Mujtaba Education Trust was held at Government Polytechnic Institute Sardar Garhi Peshawar. Scholarships were awarded to deserving students of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year DAE programs in recognition of their academic performance and dedication.
The parents of the scholarship recipients were also present at the ceremony, making the event a proud and memorable occasion for both students and their families.

🌱 Tree Plantation Activity at GPI Sardar Garhi Peshawar
A tree plantation activity was held today at Government Polytechnic Institute Sardar Garhi Peshawar. On this occasion, Professor Saeed Ahmad, Principal, along with Mr. Sadiq Orakzai, Vice Principal, Heads of Departments and other senior staff members participated in planting various fruit plants in the institute premises.
The activity was organized to promote a green environment and environmental awareness within the campus. The management of the institute emphasized the importance of tree plantation for a healthy and sustainable future.

Advanced GPS & GNSS Survey Training at GPI Sardar Garhi, Peshawar
Students of Civil Technology at GPI Sardar Garhi, Peshawar are performing practical field surveying using the advanced Topcon T-10 Pro GPS Controller and GNSS Receiver. This hands-on session focuses on real-time positioning, coordinate data collection, and accurate ground point measurement using modern satellite-based surveying technology.
Conducted in collaboration with our industry partner, Civil-Tech Consultant and Builders, this training enhances students’ competencies in geospatial data acquisition, site mapping, topographic surveying, and digital field data processing. The activity reflects our commitment to integrating cutting-edge surveying instruments and industry-oriented methodologies into technical education, ensuring students are fully prepared for professional civil engineering practice.

MoC Signed Between GPI Sardar Garhi Peshawar and CivilTech (Pvt.) Limited
An MoC was signed on 4th March 2026 between Government Polytechnic Institute (GPI), Sardar Garhi, Peshawar and CivilTech (Pvt.) Limited, Peshawar (Consultants & Builders) to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
The agreement was formally signed by Professor Saeed Ahmad, Principal, Government Polytechnic Institute Sardar Garhi Peshawar, and Mr. Muhammed Rafiq, Managing Director, CivilTech (Pvt.) Limited, Peshawar.
Under this collaboration, students will be provided opportunities for internships, on-job training, and placement of pass-out students in relevant technical fields. The partnership aims to enhance practical exposure, develop professional skills, and align technical education with industry requirements.
This initiative reflects GPI Sardar Garhi’s strong commitment to promoting industry-academia linkage and ensuring better career prospects for its graduates through meaningful engagement with reputable organizations.

MoU Signed Between GPI Sardar Garhi Peshawar and Mobiserve Pakistan
An MoU signing ceremony was held on 19th February 2026 at Government Polytechnic Institute Sardar Garhi, Peshawar, marking an important milestone in strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Prof. Saeed Ahmad, Principal, GPI Sardar Garhi Peshawar, and Engr. Muhammad Yasir Khan, Senior Recruitment Specialist, Mobiserve Pakistan. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to enhancing technical education through practical industry exposure.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Saeed Ahmad stated that the partnership would open new avenues for students by providing structured pathways toward professional growth. He emphasized that collaboration with reputable industry partners is essential to equip students with market-oriented skills.
Engr. Muhammad Yasir Khan highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between technical institutions and industry, noting that Mobiserve Pakistan looks forward to supporting students through meaningful training and employment opportunities.
Under the MoU, students of Electrical and Electronics Technology will benefit from On-the-Job Training (OJT), internship programs, and job placement opportunities for graduates, particularly within the telecom sector.
The initiative reinforces GPI Sardar Garhi Peshawar’s mission to produce skilled, competent, and industry-ready professionals capable of meeting modern technological challenges.

The 3rd year students of GPI Sardar Garhi visited Tarbela Dam on 17-02-2026 as an educational tour. The students of Civil, Electrical, and Electronics technologies observed the dam structure, power generation units, control room, transformers, and reservoir area.
The technical staff explained the working of electricity generation and distribution. The tour was very informative and enhanced the students’ practical knowledge.

A Blood Donor Camp was successfully conducted at Government Polytechnic Institute (GPI) Sardar Garhi on 13th February 2026, on the special request of Jinnah Medical Teaching Hospital, to support patients suffering from Thalassemia, Hemophilia, and Leukemia.
The participation of students was enormous and truly inspiring. Their enthusiasm, sense of responsibility, and commitment to this noble cause reflected the spirit of humanity and social service.
Principal Professor Saeed Ahmad highly appreciated the zeal and excitement of the students and commended their generous contribution toward saving precious lives. Such initiatives not only strengthen community bonds but also promote the values of compassion and volunteerism among youth.
