KP Directorate General of Industries & Commerce

In light of the directions issued by the worthy Director General Industries & Commerce Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the District Administration Charsadda regarding monitoring and enforcement against overpricing during Eid-ul-Azha 2026, the IDO and AIDO Charsadda, along with staff conducted inspection visits to various business establishments in Tehsil Tangi.
During the inspections special focus was placed on underweight commodities, adherence to prescribed standards of weights and measures, overpricing, and non-display of price lists. Consequently, notices were issued to the violators and they were summoned to the office for further legal proceedings under consumer protection Act 1997 while 03 cases were referred to the Consumer Court.

On the directions of the worthy Director General, Industries, Commerce & Technical Education (IC&T), Industries, Commerce & Technical Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on 24/25/05/2026, the Assistant Director Industries & Commerce, Tank/South Waziristan, Mr. Zulqarnain Shah, conducted a joint inspection along with the Assistant Commissioner, Makeen, South Waziristan (Upper).
During the inspection, two illegal diesel agencies were sealed due to low fuel gauge, poor quality fuel, and overcharging. Moreover, one diesel agency was fined on the spot for violation of rules and regulations.

As per the direction of the Director General Industries & Commerce khyber Pakhtunkhwa and on instruction of Assistant Director ind/CPC Swat, the Industrial Development Officer along with staff visited Filling Stations and LPG shops in Tehsil Babozai and kabal Swat. During the legal documentation, guage and safety precautions are checked. Minor violators are warned and others are called to the Assistant Director's office for further proceedings.

Upon instructions of the DG Industries and Commerce today I have visited the unit M/s Ambar chemicals ind pvt Ltd and M/s Margala lubricants pvt Ltd industrial estate Hattar for annual inspection and renewal of Registration certificate, inspected Boilers internally and externally condition found satisfactory, advised them to intimate satisfactory hydraulic test report at working pressure and install water control cut-off system.

معائنے کے دوران قیمتوں، ریٹ لسٹ کی نمائش، اوزان و پیمائش، اشیاء کے معیار، میعادِ استعمال (ایکسپائری) اور صفائی ستھرائی کو چیک کیا گیا۔ مجموعی صورتحال تسلی بخش پائی گئی، تاہم بعض خلاف ورزی کرنے والوں کو مزید قانونی کارروائی کے لیے اسسٹنٹ ڈائریکٹر سی پی سی کے سامنے پیش ہونے کے نوٹس جاری کیے گئے۔
مزید برآں دکانداروں اور دیگر کاروباری مراکز کے مالکان کو ہدایت کی گئی کہ وہ حکومت کی جانب سے مقرر کردہ نرخوں اور مطلوبہ معیار پر عملدرآمد یقینی بنائیں۔

On the directions of worthy Director General Industries and Commerce Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and on the instructions of Assistant Director, AIDO, visited Barikot and Landaky. The team inspected petrol pumps, LPG shops, General stores, mega marts, medical stores and dental clinics. The minor violators were warned and the major were issued with notices for further legal action. All the activities were done under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Consumer Protection Act 1997, amended 2017

On the directions of the Worthy Director General, Industries & Commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Today dated 20-05-2026 the Assistant Director Industries & Consumer Protection Orakzai, along with the Consumer Inspector, carried out inspection activities in Kadda Bazar Kalaya and Ferozkhel in District Orakzai under the Consumer Protection Act, 1997 (amended 2017). The inspections covered filling stations, medical stores, bakeries, and fuel stock to ensure compliance with consumer protection act. Legal action was initiated against violators, and fines were imposed in accordance with the law.

On the direction issued by worthy Director General of Industries and Commerce Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the Assistant Director Industries and CPC Dir Lower/Upper visited District Dir Upper where various business outlets were inspected and violators booked under the relevant law on the spot.

Upon instructions of the DG Industries and Commerce today I have visited the unit M/s Army services Corps Centre Nowshera and M/s Cherat Cement Co Ltd Nowshera for annual inspection and renewal of Registration certificate, inspected Boilers internally and externally condition found satisfactory, advised them to intimate satisfactory hydraulic test report at working pressure, renewal work and materials checked, advised them for standard procedure and radiotherapy test.

On the directions of the Worthy Director General, Industries & Commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Today dated 19-05-2026 the *Assistant Director Industries & Consumer Protection Council Mardan, and Consumer Inspector Mardan along with staff, carried out Godown Surveys and regular inspection activities in Mardan and Takht Bai Bazars District Mardan respectively, under the Consumer Protection Act, 1997 (amended in 2017). The regular inspections covered Restaurants, Marts, LPG Shops, and Filling Stations to ensure compliance with consumer protection laws and safety standards.Legal action was initiated against violators, and fines were imposed in accordance with the law.
