Guidelines / Instructions for eligible candidates appearing in screening test for the post of Addl. District & Sessions Judge to be held on 25-01-2025.

On 23rd December, 2024, Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held in the Peshawar High Court. The ceremony was attended by Hon’ble the Chief Justice Mr. Ishtiaq Ibrahim, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ijaz Anwar, the Senior Puisne Judge, Hon’ble Judge(s) of the Administration Committee, Mr. Ikhtiar Khan, the Registrar, Mr. Mamrez Khan Khalil, Addl. Registrar (Admn) and all principal officers of the Peshawar High Court.
The ceremony was held to honor the outstanding performance of Judicial Officers (including District & Sessions Judge, Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Senior Civil Judges and Civil Judges) of the District Judiciary. For the purpose, total 81 Judicial Officers were selected based on their performance and were presented appreciation certificate by the Hon’ble Chief Justice.
Hon’ble the Chief Justice while concluding the ceremony highly appreciated performance of the District Judiciary in particular and the high performing Judicial Officers in general. His lordship emphasized that High Court will extend all out support to the Judicial Officer and will always look after the well being of Judicial Officers.

On, 31st July, 2024, the Chief Traffic Officer Peshawar sent his team with Driving License Van to facilitate the Hon’ble Judge(s), staff of Peshawar High Court as well as the Lawyers’ community in acquiring/renewal of driving license. The applicants for driving license were also facilitated with on spot driving license test at the High Court and a total of 50 applications were processed in one day.

On 1st August, 2024, handing/taking over ceremony of the Mobile Court Bus was held at District Courts Buner in the presence of representatives of the Peshawar High Court, Federal Judicial Academy, the District Courts Peshawar, Buner & Swabi. The Mobile Court Bus was handed over to Mr. Tahir Iqbal, Administrative Officer FJA upon request of the Director General FJA for its use in the suburbs of Islamabad as Mobile Mediation Facility (MMF) under Alternative Dispute Resolution Initiative (ADRI) of the Federal Judicial Academy.
