This milestone has been achieved through the tireless efforts of our dedicated staff and the unwavering support of our leadership.

Black Day Message on October 27th:

Today, we solemnly observe Black Day, remembering the atrocities and injustices inflicted upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir. On this day in 1947, Indian forces entered the region, marking the beginning of a long struggle and resistance by the people of Kashmir for their right to self-determination and freedom from oppression.

Despite decades of adversity, the Kashmiri people continue to display remarkable resilience, courage, and unwavering hope in their pursuit of justice. We stand in solidarity with them, reaffirming our commitment to advocating for their human rights, dignity, and self-determination. The world must heed their voices and recognize the just cause of the Kashmiri people.

Let us remember those who have suffered and those who continue to endure the ongoing challenges in Jammu and Kashmir. On this Black Day, we renew our call for peace, justice, and the rightful liberation of Kashmir.

A team of technical officers from FMDVRC and CMB at VRI Peshawar visited a livestock farm in Naguman region at the outskirts of District Peshawar. The animals were suspected of FMD. Samples were collected for confirmation through ELISA.

A team from FMDVRC, KP, visited Matani to attend FMD outbreak in the area. The samples collected will be confirmed through ELISA at the virology section of Veterinary Research Institute,Peshawar
It is highly advised to vaccinate vulnerable animals against FMD to prevent production and treatment losses.

PUBLIC SERVICE MESSAGE

In wake of the extensive movement of animals due to the upcoming Eid ul Adha and in accordance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of National Food Security and Research (Livestock Wing), vaccination of animals against diseases like Foot and Mouth Disease is of utmost importance. It is not only important to vaccinate the animals already domesticated for dairy or meat purposes, but also the animals that are transported trans-boundary to/from other provinces or countries to prevent the spread of diseases that cause financial losses not only on domestic, but also national level.

آئندہ عید الاضحی کی وجہ سے جانوروں کی وسیع نقل و حرکت کے پیش نظر اور وزارت نیشنل فوڈ سیکیورٹی اینڈ ریسرچ (لائیو سٹاک ونگ) کی جانب سے جاری کردہ ایڈوائزری کے مطابق، جانوروں کو منہ کہر بیماری جیسی بیماریوں سے بچاؤ کی ویکسینیشن انتہائی اہمیت کی حامل ہے۔ یہ ویکسین نہ صرف ڈیری یا گوشت کے مقاصد کے لیے پہلے سے پالے ہوئے جانوروں کو لگانا ضروری ہے بلکہ ایسے جانوروں کو بھی ٹیکہ لگانا ضروری ہے جو دوسرے صوبوں یا ممالک سے سرحد پار سے لاے یا لیجاے جاتے ہیں تاکہ ایسی بیماریوں کے پھیلاؤ کو روکا جا سکے جو نہ صرف گھریلو بلکہ قومی سطح پر مالی نقصان کا باعث بنتی ہیں۔
