MDCAT 2025 Update ⚠️
Entry to the exam center will only be allowed with an original photo ID.

✅ Acceptable documents:

CNIC

NADRA Juvenile Card (for candidates under 18)

Passport

Original Matric/F.Sc Certificate or Result Card

❌ No entry with photocopies, photo-less documents, or B-Form.

Hundreds of students from Gilgit-Baltistan, currently enrolled in prestigious public-sector universities across Pakistan, have been unjustly deprived of the only scholarship available to them under the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The Gilgit-Baltistan Undergraduate Scholarship Program has been abruptly discontinued, prompting strong protests from the student community.

In response, the students earnestly appeal to the government of Gilgit Baltistan, including the Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan, Governor Mehdi Shah, Education Minister Ghulam Shehzad Agha, Chief Secretary Abrar Ahmed Mirza, and the Secretary of Education, to urgently intervene and issue explicit directives to the HEC and Federal Planning Commission for the restoration of this critical scholarship, which serves as a vital lifeline for the region’s deserving and talented youth.

The students further voiced their grievance over the discriminatory treatment, highlighting that the second phase of the same scholarship program has already been initiated for FATA students, raising the question: why have students from Gilgit-Baltistan been excluded?

پاکستان کی سرکاری شعبے کی نمایاں جامعات میں زیرِ تعلیم گلگت بلتستان کے سینکڑوں طلباء و طالبات کو ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن (HEC) کے تحت دستیاب واحد اسکالرشپ سے ناانصافی کے ساتھ آئیندہ کے لئے محروم کر دیا گیا ہے۔ "گلگت بلتستان انڈرگریجویٹ اسکالرشپ پروگرام" کو اچانک ختم کر دیا گیا ہے، جس کے خلاف طلباء برادری نے شدید احتجاج کیا ہے۔

اس صورتحال پر طلباء نے حکومتِ گلگت بلتستان سے پُرزور اپیل کی ہے کہ وہ فوری مداخلت کریں۔ وزیراعلیٰ حاجی گلبر خان، گورنر مہدی شاہ، وزیر تعلیم غلام شہزاد آغا، چیف سیکریٹری ابرار احمد مرزا، اور سیکریٹری تعلیم جن سے مطالبہ کیا گیا ہے کہ وہ HEC اور فیڈرل پلاننگ کمیشن کو فوری ہدایات جاری کریں تاکہ اس اہم اسکالرشپ کو بحال کیا جا سکے۔ یہ اسکالرشپ علاقے کے مستحق اور باصلاحیت نوجوانوں کے لیے ایک اہم سہارا ہے۔

طلباء نے مزید اس اقدام کو امتیازی سلوک قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ اسی اسکالرشپ پروگرام کا دوسرا مرحلہ فاٹا کے طلباء کے لیے شروع کیا جا چکا ہے۔ تو پھر گلگت بلتستان کے طلباء کو کیوں نظرانداز کیا گیا ہے؟

4. SYED MOHSIN SHAH,(CA), discussed _Professional Business Degrees: Pathways to Leadership and Entrepreneurship_.
