My education foundation (MEF) is a nonprofit, non-government and non political foundation, telling the stories of people and bringing new understanding to their way. MEF combats financial barriers of needy and talented students, by self-generating money, donations and getting supports from other organizations. We are the voice of those individuals who would otherwise have no voice. Th
is is a foundation build on passion for helping poor, a love for poor and committed to uplift their life standards. The chief focus of MEF is in the areas of education, health, Youth Development , recreational activities and public awareness programs with the help of compatible people, companies and other organizations. We supports for the people who are true deserving. Together, we can make a difference. Donations can take in many types. They can be financial assistance, Material property, time and knowledge.Each and every one of us has the power to transform lives. We all have the ability to help, some just require the motivation or information to make it happened. We need your support, assist, encouragements, ideas, knowledge and information’s. The year was 2010 when a group of four visionary friends Shamser, Irfan Ali Shah, Arshad Khan and Syed Khausar Ali Shah with the aim to help deserving and talented students in their specified region by paying tuition fees.This vision becomes the basis for the My Education Foundation (MEF).In 2011 MEF extend its scholarship programs in district Ghizer with funding from board of trustees. MEF set out to provide an environment where all children would benefit from good schools through an integrated and unified approach of providing quality education through scholarships. In 2013 MEF started launched loans scheme for students on emergency bases where many beneficiaries got benefit from this loan scheme.MEF works with communities providing them with skills to manage their own affairs and implemented and integrated community development. In 2014 MEF extended its working where a fully equipped community library containing 4000 books established in Gilgit Baltiatsn, distric Ghizer at Gitch valley. It is the the first largest community library in district Ghizer.
