is a genus of blister beetle belonging to the Meloidae family found in Africa and Asia. The genus contains over 400 species.
Adults feed mainly on flowers from a wide range of plant families. The first larval instar is an active triungulin form that is a predator of soft insects such as aphids. While the young are often beneficial to crops by suppressing other plant feeders, the adults can be a problem when present in large numbers. Flower feeding leads to lower yield and this can be a problem in some leguminous crops. They are however easily controlled by manual collection.

Jassid is a sucking pest occurring throughout the crop growing period on cotton in all the zones. The pest injects toxins into leaves while feeding which results in abnormal changes in leaves - marginal chlorosis and reddening.
We find its swear attack on lady finger.
Jassid can be controlled with the use of
Dinotifuran
Imidacloprid
Dimethoate 40EC 400ml per acre at the time of high infestation

Fall armyworm adult moth The fall armyworm has four life stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Adult moths (Figure 3) are generally gray in color, with a 1½-inch wingspan and white underwings.
Fall armyworms feed on a wide range of plants, including Bermudagrass, corn, fescue, Johnsongrass, rice, ryegrass, small grain crops, sorghum, Sudangrass and timothy. ... Caterpillars often occur locally in large numbers and migrate together like an army as they devour host plants, eating all above ground plant parts.

Male and female grasshoppers mate as summer changes to autumn. Males fertilize the females, who deposit the eggs that will become the grasshopper population next summer.
