*Pakistan Independence Day 2026 Celebrated*
On the directions of Worthy Conservator Wildlife *Mr. Faique Khan* and DFO *Mr. Manzoor Qadir*, *Lower Swat Wildlife Division* celebrated Pakistan Independence Day 2026 with great enthusiasm.
Activities were held at Division Office Lower Swat, Range Offices Kabal, Charbagh, Mangora, and Sub-Division Shangla.
Staff also distributed wildlife awareness material to road passers and visited schools & colleges to celebrate the day collaboratively. later on plantation drive was also carried out at different offices of the divison.

🇵🇰 *Yaum-e-Istehsal Kashmir Observed*

*Lower Swat Wildlife Division – Range Office Mangora* in collaboration with *school children of Swat*, and *Sub-Division Office Shangla* in collaboration with *local Police, Security Agencies, and local people* observed *5th August* as _Yaum-e-Istehsal Kashmir_ with great enthusiasm.

The purpose was to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir and to condemn the attempt of the Indian Government regarding the abrogation of Article 370 in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

Despite the challenges, we stand united for justice, peace, and the right of self-determination.

ڈویژنل فاریسٹ آفیسر وائلڈ لائف لوئر سوات، جناب *منظور قادر صاحب* نے ڈسٹرکٹ پبلک پراسیکیوٹر سوات، *جناب انور علی خان صاحب* سے ان کے دفتر میں ایک اہم ملاقات کی۔

ملاقات میں وائلڈ لائف سے متعلقہ مقدمات اور ان کے قانونی پہلوؤں پر تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی۔
ڈسٹرکٹ پبلک پراسیکیوٹر صاحب نے یقین دہانی کرائی کہ وائلڈ لائف سے متعلق تمام مقدمات کو قانونی تقاضوں کے مطابق مؤثر انداز میں فالو اپ کیا جائے گا اور ان کے مسائل ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کیے جائیں گے۔

اس موقع پر ڈی ایف او منظور قادر صاحب نے ڈی پی پی صاحب کو وائلڈ لائف کے حوالے سے ایک یادگاری شیلڈ بھی پیش کی۔

وائلڈ لائف کے تحفظ کے لیے اداروں کے مابین اس طرح کی باہمی تعاون سے قدرتی ماحول کے تحفظ میں مزید بہتری آئے گی۔ 🌿🦅

On 18th June 2026, *DFO Wildlife Lower Swat Mr. Manzoor Qadir* called on *Deputy Commissioner Swat Mr Saleem Jan* at his office where the DC warmly welcomed him. During the meeting, DFO Mr. Manzoor Qadir discussed various issues related to wildlife conservation, prevention of illegal hunting, and environmental awareness campaigns in Lower Swat. At the conclusion, *DFO Manzoor Qadir presented a commemorative souvenir* of the Wildlife Department to *DC Swat*, reflecting the strong collaboration between District Administration and Wildlife Department for protecting Swat’s environment and biodiversity.

*🔥 کبل رینج سگړام میں لگنے والی آگ پر بروقت قابو | Forest Fire Controlled in Kabal Range Sigram*

13 جون 2026، رات 1:00 بجے *لور سوات وائلڈ لائف ڈویژن* کو اطلاع ملی کہ *کبل رینج کے علاقہ سگړام* میں آگ لگ گئی ہے۔

*کارروائی کی تفصیلات:*
1. اطلاع ملتے ہی *ڈی ایف او لور سوات وائلڈ لائف جناب منظور قادر صاحب* کی نگرانی میں وائلڈ لائف کا عملہ فوراً موقع پر پہنچ گیا۔
2. وائلڈ لائف سٹاف نے اپنی جان کی پرواہ کیے بغیر آگ میں کود کر بہادری سے آگ بجھانے کا عمل شروع کیا۔
3. مشکل حالات کے باوجود ٹیم نے بروقت کارروائی کر کے آگ پر قابو پا لیا اور قیمتی جنگلات و ایکو سسٹم کو بڑے نقصان سے بچا لیا۔
4. یہ واقعہ *محکمہ وائلڈ لائف خیبر پختونخوا* کے جوانوں کے جذبے، لگن اور فرض شناسی کا منہ بولتا ثبوت ہے۔

ہمارے وائلڈ لائف سٹاف دن رات فورسٹ فائر اور ماحولیاتی خطرات کے خلاف سیسہ پلائی دیوار بن کر کھڑے ہیں۔ سلام ہے ان بہادر جوانوں کو 👏🌲

On 8th June 2026, *DFO Wildlife Lower Swat Mr. Manzoor Qadir* hosted *MPA & District Chairman (DADAK) Akhtar Khan and *MNA Dr. Amjad Ali, Swat* at *Fizagat Pheasantry Lower Swat Wildlife Division*.

*Highlights of the Visit:*
1. DFO Mr. Manzoor Qadir briefed the honorable guests about the establishment of Fizagat Pheasantry, its objectives, and its vital importance for wildlife conservation in Swat.
2. He explained the ongoing activities inside the pheasantry and provided detailed information about different species of pheasants and other rare birds kept in captivity.
3. The DFO highlighted the role of Wildlife Department in protecting Swat’s natural environment and biodiversity.
4. At the conclusion, *DFO Manzoor Qadir presented commemorative souvenirs* from the Wildlife Department to MPA Akhtar Khan and MNA Dr. Amjad Ali.
5. Both the MPA and MNA assured the DFO of their full support and pledged to assist with financial, budgetary, and all possible help for the improvement of Fizagat Pheasantry.

This visit marks a strong commitment towards conservation of wildlife and development of eco-tourism in Swat 💚

Lower Swat Wildlife Division celebrates World Environmental Day 2026 Jointly with Government Jahanzeb College Swat. The seminar was organized under the official World Environment Day theme “Inspired by Nature: For Climate, For Our Future”

A seminar on the occasion of World Environment Day was organized in the Seminar Hall of the Department of Sociology, Jahanzeb College, in collaboration with the Lower Swat Wildlife Division. The event was attended by faculty members, Heads of Departments, students from various departments, and officials from the Wildlife Division.
The chief guests of the event were Principal of Jahanzeb college Prof Kamal Saib.
The ceremony formally began with an inauguration session, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran. The event was hosted by Tariq Amin and Huma Shafiq .
After the recitation, Dr. Basit Khan, Head of the Department of Sociology, delivered the welcome address and warmly welcomed all guests and participants.
Following this, Professor Kamal Saib spoke about the importance of environmental protection and highlighted the collective responsibility of society in preserving natural resources. Afterwards, Professor Akhtar Ali shared his views on environmental sustainability and the role of educational institutions in promoting environmental awareness.
Two students from the Department of Sociology, Nayab Sadiq and Haider Ali, delivered presentations on the significance of World Environment Day. They discussed practical ways to make the environment greener and more sustainable and encouraged students to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts.
In the concluding session, DFO Manzoor Qadir expressed his gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, and students of Jahanzeb College, particularly the Department of Sociology, for their active participation and successful collaboration in organizing the event.
Certificates and souvenir awards were then distributed among the participants and presenters by Professor KamalbSaib Dr. Basit Ali, and DFO Manzoor Qadir.
The event concluded with an awareness walk, during which participants reaffirmed their commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.
