Did you know thereâs a holiday like this today? đ
If not, no worries - weâll admit it: until recently, we had no idea what falls on October 17 either.
Besides, from the perspective of an automotive workshop, Repair Day basically lasts all year round. đ§ After all, the idea of extending the life of parts instead of sending them to the scrapyard is something you put into practice every day.
And while itâs clear that for a professional mechanic, repair work is a trade obligation, it can also be genuinely satisfying. Or at least significantly less frustrating. đ
So hereâs our question: which engines do you enjoy repairing the most? With which power units is the work enjoyable, or at least least likely to raise your blood pressure?
We know, we know - a lot depends on the condition of a specific vehicle. âšď¸ But what we mean are the broader aspects: how well you know a given power unit, its level of complexity, access to components, and the engine design itself. In short, which engines are easier for you to work on than others, even when the fault is quite serious?
Weâre looking forward to your thoughts. đ
