جنين: زار رئيس قسم التعاون في الاتحاد الأوروبي، ماريو جوزيبي فارينتي، جنين برفقة ممثلين عن بلجيكا وألمانيا وفرنسا وهولندا في تأكيد على دعم فريق أوروبا للقطاع الخاص الفلسطيني.
وفي غرفة تجارة وصناعة جنين، شارك الوفد في إطلاق عملية التقديم لبرنامج SAWA II، الذي يتيح فرصة عملية للمشاريع متناهية الصغر والصغيرة في محافظات شمال الضفة الغربية للحصول على الدعم وتعزيز قدرتها على الصمود.
واختُتمت الزيارة في شركة كراون للصناعات البلاستيكية حيث ساهم التعاون بين الاتحاد الأوروبي وألمانيا من خلال برنامج النمو الأخضر في فلسطين الذي تنفذه الوكالة الألمانية للتعاون الدولي (GIZ)، في دعم الشركة لتحسين أدائها البيئي.


Jenin: EU Head of Cooperation Mario Giuseppe Varrenti visited Jenin together with representatives of Belgium, Germany, France and the Netherlands, highlighting Team Europe’s support to the Palestinian private sector.
At the Jenin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the delegation joined the launch of the SAWA II application process, opening a concrete opportunity for micro and small enterprises across the northern governorates to access support and strengthen their resilience.
The visit concluded at Crown Co. for Plastic Industries, where EU-German cooperation through GIZ’s Green Growth Palestine programme has supported the company in improving its environmental performance.

Do you have an early-stage idea that could turn an environmental challenge into a green or circular solution?

Applications are now open for Track A, the ideation track of InnoTadweer, for young innovators, students, and entrepreneurs working on ideas related to energy, recycling, water, sustainable agriculture, or cleaner production.

Selected teams will join a specialized hackathon to develop and validate their ideas. The top teams will advance to a six-month incubation program, with the opportunity to receive technical support and financial support averaging €8,000 per team, adjusted according to project needs.

اختتم الاتحاد الأوروبي، ممثلا بمدير التعاون ماريو جوزيبي فارينتي، إلى جانب وزارة الزراعة وهيئة سوق رأس المال الفلسطينية وأوكسفام والاتحاد الفلسطيني لشركات التأمين والشركاء مشروع "بناء أنظمة وخدمات التأمين الزراعي الفلسطيني"، حيث تم استعراض الانجازات التي حققها المشروع.
ساهم المشروع في وضع أسس نظام تأمين زراعي أكثر استدامة يجمع المؤسسات الفلسطينية والقطاع الخاص والمزارعين بهدف توفير حماية أفضل لسبل العيش الزراعية والحد من المخاطر التي يواجهها المزارعون.
ويأتي هذا العمل في إطار دعم الاتحاد الأوروبي الأوسع للقطاع الزراعي الفلسطيني، حيث خصص الاتحاد أكثر من 65 مليون يورو للقطاع من خلال برامج مختلفة على مدار السنوات الأربع الماضية.
وفي وقت يواجه فيه المزارعون الفلسطينيون ضغوطاً متزايدة نتيجة مصادرة الأراضي والقيود المفروضة على الوصول إلى الأراضي والموارد وعنف المستوطنين، يواصل الاتحاد الأوروبي التزامه بدعم صمودهم وسبل عيشهم وتعزيز المؤسسات الفلسطينية التي تعمل على خدمتهم.
 
 
 
The EU joined the Ministry of Agriculture, the Palestinian Capital Market Authority, Oxfam, the Palestinian Insurance Federation and partners to mark the successful completion of the Building the Palestinian Agricultural Insurance Systems and Services Project.
The project has helped lay the foundations for a more sustainable agricultural insurance system, bringing together Palestinian institutions, the private sector and farmers to better protect agricultural livelihoods and reduce the risks faced by farmers.
This work is part of the EU’s wider support to Palestinian agriculture, with more than €65 millionearmarked for the sector through different programmes over the past four years.
At a time when Palestinian farmers face increasing pressure from land confiscation, restrictions on access to land and resources, and settler violence, the EU remains committed to supporting their resilience and livelihoods and to strengthening the Palestinian institutions that serve them.

شارك مدير التعاون في مكتب ممثل الاتحاد الأوروبي، ماريو جوزيبي فارينتي، في افتتاح أول أسبوع للتصميم في فلسطين في رام الله. ويفخر الاتحاد الأوروبي بدعم هذه النسخة الأولى التي تجمع فنانين ومصممين وحرفيين فلسطينيين للاحتفال بالإبداع والثقافة الفلسطينية.

وتحت شعار "بدون إذن"، يستكشف أسبوع التصميم في فلسطين كيف يمكن للتصميم أن يتفاعل مع العالم من حولنا من خلال الربط بين التراث والإبداع المعاصر، وبين المواد المحلية والأفكار الجديدة، وبين الماضي والإمكانات الجديدة للمستقبل.
ومن خلال مشروع مشكال الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي والمنفذ من قبل معهد غوته والمجلس الثقافي البريطاني، يدعم الاتحاد الأوروبي الفنانين والمبدعين الفلسطينيين، ويساهم في توفير مساحات تتيح لأفكارهم أن تنمو وتصل إلى جمهور أوسع.
على أمل أن تكون هذه النسخة الأولى بدايةً للعديد من دورات أسبوع التصميم في فلسطين!
 
 
EU Head of Cooperation Mario Giuseppe Varrenti joined the opening of the first-ever Palestine Design Week in Ramallah. The EU is proud to support this first edition, bringing together Palestinian and European artists, designers and craftspeople to celebrate creativity and Palestinian culture.
Under the theme “Without Permission”, Palestine Design Week explores how design can respond to the world around us through connecting heritage with contemporary creation, local materials with new ideas, and the past with new possibilities.
Through the EU-funded MISHKAL project, implemented by the Goethe-Institut and the British Council, the EU supports Palestinian artists and creative practitioners and helps create spaces where their ideas can grow and reach wider audiences.
Let this be the first of many Palestine Design Weeks!

شارك الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى جانب وزارة الثقافة واليونسكو وبلدية البيرة وحرفيين ومصممين وطلبة فلسطينيين في افتتاح معرض “أيادٍ خالدة – Living Hands”، احتفاءً بالحرف التقليدية الفلسطينية وبالأشخاص الذين يحافظون عليها ويُبقونها حية.
تجمع هذه المبادرة، بدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي وتنفيذ اليونسكو، بين الحرف التقليدية والتصميم المعاصر، كما تدعم المجتمعات وسبل العيش المرتبطة بهذه الحرف.
وراء كل حرفة قصة، وفي كل يد معرفة تناقلتها الأجيال. يحتفي معرض “أيادٍ خالدة” بهذا التراث، ويفتح في الوقت ذاته مساحة لأفكار جديدة وللإبداع، ولأجيال قادمة تواصل حمل هذا الإرث ونقله إلى المستقبل.

The EU joined the Ministry of Culture, UNESCO, Palestinian craftspeople, designers and students for the opening of “Living Hands – أيادٍ خالدة”, celebrating Palestine’s rich craft traditions and the people who keep them alive.
Supported by the EU and implemented by UNESCO, the initiative brings traditional craftsmanship into dialogue with contemporary design, while supporting the communities and livelihoods behind it.
Every craft carries a story, and every pair of hands carries knowledge passed down through generations. Living Hands celebrates this heritage while creating space for new ideas, creativity and future generations to carry it forward.

قدّم السفير أندرياس فيدلر، يوم السبت في رام الله، أوراق اعتماده إلى الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس، ممثلاً جديداً للاتحاد الأوروبي لدى الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة. ويظل الاتحاد الأوروبي الشريك والمانح الأكبر والأكثر موثوقية للشعب الفلسطيني.

وأكد ممثل الاتحاد الأوروبي مجدداً استمرار دعم الاتحاد للفلسطينيين، في ظل الأوضاع الكارثية في قطاع غزة واستمرار حالة عدم الاستقرار في الضفة الغربية، بما فيها القدس الشرقية.

On Saturday in Ramallah, Ambassador Andreas Fiedler presented his credentials to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as the new EU Representative to the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The EU remains the Palestinian people’s largest and most reliable partner and donor. The EU Representative reaffirmed the Union’s continued support to Palestinians, in light of the catastrophic situation in Gaza and ongoing instability in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

عقد ممثل الاتحاد الأوروبي الجديد، السفير أندرياس فيدلر، اليوم أول اجتماع له مع رئيس الوزراء الفلسطيني محمد مصطفى في رام الله.
وشكّل اللقاء فرصة لبحث آخر التطورات السياسية والاقتصادية في فلسطين. وأكد السفير فيدلر مجدداً دعم الاتحاد الأوروبي الثابت للشعب الفلسطيني والتزامه بمواصلة تعزيز المؤسسات الفلسطينية.
وسيواصل الاتحاد الأوروبي العمل بشكل وثيق مع السلطة الفلسطينية لمواجهة التحديات الراهنة بالتوازي مع دعم الأسس اللازمة لإقامة دولة فلسطينية مستقبلية مستقلة وقابلة للحياة.
 
 
Today, the new EU Representative, Ambassador Andreas Fiedler, held his first meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa in Ramallah.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the latest political and economic developments in the occupied Palestinian territory.
Ambassador Fiedler reaffirmed the EU’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to strengthening Palestinian institutions.
The EU will continue working closely with the Palestinian Authority to address immediate challenges while supporting the foundations for a viable and independent future Palestinian state.

قدّم السفير أندرياس فيدلر اليوم نسخة من أوراق اعتماده إلى وزيرة الخارجية والمغتربين الفلسطينية، الدكتورة فارسين أغابكيان، ليتولى رسمياً مهام ممثل الاتحاد الأوروبي في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة.

وجدّد ممثل الاتحاد الأوروبي الجديد التأكيد على دعم الاتحاد الأوروبي الثابت لجهود بناء الدولة الفلسطينية المستقبلية في إطار التزامه المستمر بالتوصل إلى حل الدولتين.

‏Ambassador Andreas Fiedler today presented the copy of his credentials to the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr Varsen Aghabekian, officially assuming his duties as the EU Representative to the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
 
The new EU Representative reaffirmed the EU’s steadfast support for Palestinian state-building efforts, as part of its continued commitment to the achievement of the two-state solution.
