ALPHA RAVEN
CHAPTER 7

************************
His touch. It said something but I can't figure it out. When the Alpha touched me I felt something other than pain. Just slightly. It was nothing big. Yet, I'm still thinking about his touch.
"You coming?" Alec asked from the door. We were heading to the Pack ground to watch the given punishment. Everyone had to be there. I nodded my head before following behind Alec towards the grounds. I really didn't want to watch this. It was so harsh. I'm pretty sure they would have backed off with a warning; but no, they're getting whipped.
The place was filled to the brim. The three guys stood in the centre. Cole, Aiden and Josh, I learned their names were. Chance stood strictly in-front of them talking to them. I couldn't hear from back here. The area was buzzing with whisper which suddenly disappeared in a micro-second.
The Alpha was here.
Alpha Asher walked through the path which was automatically created for him. He walked right past me and I caught a whiff of his smell. It's very hard to describe. It's like the fresh air you smell just after it rains. Petrichor . He was a few feet in-front of me but he froze before walked backwards until he was directly in-front of me. I gulped. What have I done now?
He griped my arm pulling me out from the crowd, as I reflex I grabbed Alec's, tagging him along. He released me once we got to the centre. He walked towards a stand which held a whip, picking it up and throwing it at my feet. He looked at me and I knew what he wanted me to do.
"No" I replied harshly. Gasps. That's all I heard. Guess they weren't used to anyone saying 'no' to their Alpha. Hell would freeze over before I whipped anyone of them. Even if I did want to, I didn't have the guts to. Alpha looked at me stepping forward, raising his eyebrows in challenge.
"No" I repeated taking a step forward too. I have self-respect and he could eat a dick if he can't take that. He growled taking another step forward but before he could reach me, Alec stepped in-front of me. The Alpha growled louder at the challenge.
"Alec, step away" I said to him. I wasn't going to give him the chance to make me feel guilty if he got hurt.
"It is my job to protect you, and I'm doing just that" he growled looking at me.I looked at the Alpha and see his expression hinting respect but it quickly changed once he saw me. He was seething. I knew Alec wouldn't last in front of the Alpha. I wasn't going to let him get hurt just because I didn't want to do as asked. I was a higher rank to Alec. I could command him. I have never used my Beta voice. Ever. Guess there's always a first time to everything.
"Alec. Step away." I used my Beta voice. Everyone on the ground bowed their heads and Alec whipped around towards me with one thing clouding his face. Hurt.
"I'm sorry" I whispered. Alec looked down clenching his fists before stepping away. Not too far though.
"Alpha, how about you just punish them?" Chance spoke up going to stand next to the Alpha. He growled stepping forward until he was in-front of me. We locked eyes and I glared while he just stared. I wasn't going to look away first or blink. He was trying to show dominance and control. I wasn't going to let him win. The air was tense. Very tense. We stood there for around a solid minute before my eyes starting watering. I crossed my arms raising my eyebrows when I saw his one side of his lip turn up, just slightly. A tear slid down my eye but I just wiped it away. A few seconds later Chance sighed walking in between me and the Alpha, pushing both our faces in the opposite direction. We growled at him, but he looks unaffected.

"It's cold. Hurry up" he walked back to his position. Alpha looked towards Chance and I knew he was mind-linking him. Chance looked down, eyebrows furrowing, before he looked back up, shaking his head towards the Alpha.
Alpha sighed rolling his shoulders. He motioned Aiden forward, and he reluctantly does. He was shirtless. Alpha turned him around so he was showing his back to the Alpha. Alpha held out his hand and Chance picked up the whip at my feet and placed it in his hand. Everyone took a step back, including Chance.
Crack
I looked away shutting my eyes, as Aiden whimpered.
Crack
I clenched my fists. Did he actually deserve that? "Stop" I yelled out before another whip could be landed on Aiden's bright red back. Alpha ignored me.
Crack
"What is wrong with you?" I asked disgusted. Maybe all the rumours weren't wrong. I glare at him as he continued whipping. Not being able to take any of this, I turn on my heel and walk away.
He could do whatever the hell he wanted. I thanked the Moon Goddess he wasn't my Alpha. I ran upstairs and straight to my bed, landing face first.
"You okay?" a voice asked from the door. I turned my head towards the side facing the door, still laying down.
"Peachy" I mumbled sitting up. I get up and wrap my arms around Alec's waist.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't want to do that to you, but you left me no choice. I wasn't going to let you get hurt" I explained to Alec. He looked down at me and smiled before kissing my forehead.
"I understand" he moved to sit at my desk.
"You've been drawing" He commented looking through my sketchbook. It was nothing special. it was just a hobby. Something I do when I'm bored.
"What's this?" Alec asked looking down at a page. I walked up next to him and looked over his shoulder.
"An eye?" I shrugged.
"I know that. Who's though?" he looked at me curiously.
"No one. It doesn't have to belong to anyone" I lied. It did belong to someone. It belonged to the Alpha. The first time I saw him, his eyes stuck out. I couldn't get them out of my head so I decided to draw, to free my mind. I ended up with a sketch of his eye. Great.
I wanted to tear it up, but I didn't have enough will power for it. I get jittery when he's near me. I heat up. He smells good. Could he be...? He couldn't...But what if he is?
Werewolf's didn't find their mates until they were eighteen, and I was only seventeen. I only had a few months till I turn eighteen. Alec had a few weeks to go. I was knocked back with the realisation that he may be my mate.
'Will you give him a chance?' my wolf asked.
'Everyone deserves a chance. If he proves to me that he's a good mate, I will accept him.' I replied. That is, if he is my Mate. Even though his recent impression hasn't been all too well, he deserved a chance. A chance to prove he isn't bad at heart. A chance to prove he can love.
A chance to be prove the werewolf kingdom wrong.

ALPHA RAVEN Chapter 6

Silence speaks when words cannot
****
Chances's POV
"They'll be here in a minute, Alpha" I announced to Asher who just nodded in response. Asher is my best friend, yet I still call him Alpha . The only reason behind this is because Asher treats everyone equally, If everyone calls him Alpha, then so do I. Status don't matter. That's what I respect about Asher. More then a friend or Alpha, Asher is my brother and because I have a brother, I will always have a friend. I'm sure of it.
A few minutes later there was a quiet knock on the office door. I could already smell the fear.
"Come in" I permitted. Asher didn't bother with any of this. After what happened not one pack member has heard Asher say a word. The only person he actually communicates with is me. The main reason behind this is because Asher believes that meaningless silence is better than meaningless words.
The three fools walked in, tails tucked between their legs. No, they were not in wolf form. It was just an expression. Come on, guys. Keep up. They all stood in a line in front of Asher's desk, not daring to raise an eye.
One growl from Asher, is all it took for the boys to start tripping over their words trying to come up with a reasonable explanation.
"Silence" I growled shutting everyone up instantly.
"You" I said addressing Aiden. He was the one who lead the rest. Idiot. I seriously feel like if I smacked the stupid out of him, there wouldn't be anything left. Aiden took a step forward, his hands behind his back, eyes directed to the ground.
"Explain" I ordered
"Uh...I...ermm..." He stumbled over his words before gathering enough courage to form a coherent sentence. One that actually made sense.
"That girl..she...erm..she threw herself on me. She wanted m-.." he rushed out but was cut short when a growl interrupted him. Asher was instantly on his feet and had Aiden pinned to the wall, within seconds. Josh and Cole looked like they were going to pass out any second. Damn, boys. I sighed. Now, I have to actually put some effort in. I walked to Asher and tried to pry him off Aiden.
"Get off him" I said pathetically whacking his arm. It wouldn't hurt if Aiden got a little extra punishment. I really didn't like him. After a few seconds when I saw Aiden's face start to turn blue, I finally decided to get Asher off him. I wrapped my hand around Asher's and pried it off Aiden's neck.
'You need to calm down. Why are you so angry anyway?' I mind-linked him. He just stalked toward the window glaring out at the trees. What did the trees ever do to him, apart from giving his wolf a place to p*e? He should be grateful.
"Get back in line" I growled at Aiden who was sprawled on the floor. He managed to get himself up and back in line.
"Stand straighter" I loved having such power. Such fun.
'How about we call Alicia and Alec and ask for their side of the story?' I suggested and waited for Asher's reply. He looked unsure for a second but nodded anyway. I mind-linked a pack member and told them to inform the Shadowless members.
A few minutes later two more figures appeared at the door. The pack member who had escorted them left, closing the door behind them.
"Please sit" I said as politely as I could pointing to the sofa's. They did as asked.
"Aiden" I warned when I caught him glaring. He instantly looked back down. His entire neck was swollen and red. Served him right. I did notice one thing though. Something which had to do with Asher. As soon as Alicia and Alec walked into the room, Asher stiffened. Weird. I was going to pester him about that later. I mean, what else are best friend's for?
"You recognise these people, don't you?" I asked sitting down next to them, pointing to the trio. Asher was still by the window, fists clenched. What's up his arse? They both nodded a little unsure.
"How do you know them?"
"They were the ones in the canteen" Alec answered. I nodded slowly.
"What were they doing?" I asked directing the question at Alicia. She subtly licked her lips, running her hands through her hair. She was gorgeous, but not my type. My type was only my mate. The one made for me.
"Well, they were harassing me. Before things got serious, Alec came and you guys soon followed" she answered pointing to me and Asher. I stood up walking to stand in front of the boys again.
"Is that true?" Aiden spoke up to answer but I cut him off before he could.
"Don't bother lying" I growled. He shut up. I looked towards Cole and Josh. They merely nodded.
'Five whips on the Pack grounds for Aiden. Two for the rest.' Asher ordered through mind-link. Harsh I know but I also know the reasons behind it all too.
"Breaking a Pack rule, comes with a punishment. Your punishment has been decided. Aiden you will be receiving five whips on the pack grounds." I announced to a scared Aiden. My eyebrows scrunched a weird smell filled the air. I slowly sniffed the air. He urinated. He bloody urinated. I looked at Alec and Alicia who had clearly discovered what Aiden had done, and had masks of disgust covering their faces.
"As for Cole and Josh, you both will be receiving only two because even though you weren't verbally talking part in the harassment, you being their laughing at Aiden's doing is also unacceptable. Be ready at five. You may go" I announced. They all instantly shot out of the room. Asher walked back to his desk sitting down getting out some papers.
"Isn't that a little harsh?" Alicia whispered to Alec. Asher growled.
"It was just a question. Jeez." She retorted rolling her eyes. Wrong move, girl.
"Ali" Alec hissed nudging Alicia. Too late. Asher was already out his chair and in front of Alicia. He looked at Alec silently telling him too move. He stood up, coming to sit next to me. Intelligent boy. Asher gripped her forearm pulling her up until she was at eye level.
Wait, did he just sniff her? He did. His tight scowl lifted a bit, but not a lot.
'Nobody disrespects me' Asher growled through our mind-link. I sighed looking at the scene in-front of me.
"I was...I was joking" Alicia mumbled not looking him in the eye.
"He doesn't like jokes" I butted in. Asher glared at her for another second before letting go of her, walking back to his desk.
'They can go' I nodded
"You may leave" I said repeating the order. Alec walked towards Alicia grabbing onto her hand, pulling her out of the office. Asher stared at the door gripping his pen so hard, his knuckles turned white.
"What's up with you?" I asked sitting down on the sofa, picking up a book. He picked up his coffee taking a sip.
"She's your mate, isn't she?" I asked knowingly. He spit out his coffee. I've always wanted to do that. A spit take.
He just grumbled something under his breath.
He ran a hand, down his face before getting up to sit next to me. He picked up a book on his way. He sat down, stretching his legs in front of him beginning to read.
"Sometimes you have to accept the truth, and stop wasting time" I told him. He looked up for a split second before going back to reading.
Well, atleast I tried.

ALPHA RAVEN
CHAPTER 5

If you call one wolf, you invite the Pack.
***
Alec instantly jumped off me, while I pulled down my shirt which had ridden up during our tickle fest. We all sat in silence until Chance finally decided to speak up.
"Dinner in five. You will be introduced." he said looking between me and Alec. He continued this for a good minute before turning around and walking out.
"Well, that was awkward" Alec sighed walking to the mirror to sort his hair out before we had to go downstairs. I should probably do the same. So I did. A few minutes later, we were both walking downstairs to the kitchen, which was full along with the living room. Chance spotted us and waved us forward. When we were too slow, he stomped towards us and literally dragged us with him.
"Alright, quieten down" Chance yelled over the noise stopping the on-going chit chat.
"As you've probably already heard, we have some visitors in our Pack. Alpha and I both expect you to treat them with respect and represent us perfectly. Please welcome Alicia Faye, the daughter of the Shadowless Beta and her warrior Alec Creed" I hadn't met the Alpha yet. I wonder how he is and whether the rumours were true. I personally do not believe rumours unless I experience whatever it is first hand. The wolfs howled in welcome before re-staring their conversations. They weren't interested. Chance led us to a the cook, who was a sweet old lady in her late fifties and handed us our dinner. I quickly finished my dinner before heading back to my room. Alec did the same.
Tomorrow I would be starting school. A brand new school with brand new people. The only good thing was that Alec was with me but I still felt a sea of anxiety deep down. I guess I was just worried. Worried about being exposed. We would just have to wait and see what life had in-store.
***
"You ready?" Alec asked poking his head through my door.
"Yeah"
We decided to walk to school since it was only a five minute walk and I needed the fresh air. Talking about fresh air, I'm thinking about going for a run later this evening. When I saw the school entrance, I was in awe. This school was so fancy. All we had was a simple building with the school name on it. It was nothing compared to this. I looked towards Alec only to see him holding the same expression as me.
We walked through the doors and got some not so subtle stares.
Weren't we introduced yesterday?
Not everyone was there.
Good point. But, they knew they had some visitors. My wolf didn't reply after that. Alec stood slightly in front of me like he usually does when we're in public. He took his job seriously. I ignored the whispers and focused on only one task. Finding my classroom. Alec had different classes compared to me because he was a year above me. Though we were both in sixth form, he was in Year 13 while I was in Year 12. Not a massive difference, but there was one.
Period 1 - Maths - C22
I tried to ask for help from some passers but instead only received a nasty look. Okay then, I guess I'm on my own. I did accomplish the task, but it was fifteen minutes after the bell had rung. I took a deep breath before knocking on the classroom door. After I heard a 'come in' I slowly opened the door walking in.
"Alicia?" The teacher asked looking at her computer.
"Yes Miss" I replied trying not to make eye contact with anyone. They'd probably think I'm challenging them.
"Take a seat" she sighed and pointed to an empty seat and the front table. It was a six people table and had already been taken up by four. I sat down placing my bag under the table after I had taken my book out, opening it to a new page. Let it begin.
My second lesson was Biology, which I actually enjoyed. We dissected a heart. After science we had a twenty minute break so I met up with Alec.
"How's it going?" he asked sitting next to me in the courtyard.
"It's actually been alright. How 'bout you?" He shrugged scrunching his nose.
"The girls are too clingy" he replied with a disgusting look. I wasn't surprised. I knew that he would have girls falling at his feet. It happened wherever we went. Alec was cute, but not my type. Neither was I his.
"Time to go" He groaned picking up his bag placing it on his shoulder. He gave me a quick hug before running to his class. I had two free periods next so I decided to go to the common room. This was a large area where all the sixth form students could go to, to either study or relax for a bit. I felt awkward at first but eventually got used to it. I sat at the far end of the room and plugged in my earphones ready to listen to music. That was until I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"You're Alicia, right?" A beautiful blonde asked. She had absolutely stunning grey eyes and I instantly knew she was a prize for the males.
"Yes, why?" I asked curious. She was accompanied by two other girls. They were also very beautiful, to say the least. Blondie took a seat next to me, crossing one leg over the other.
"I'm Brittany. I was just wondering who that guy was with you. Does he have a mate?" she titled her head to the side, as if analysing me, with a small smile
"He's my warrior, and he doesn't have a mate." If she was looking for a date, she was after the wrong guy. Alec doesn't do dates.
"Great. Nice meeting you" she said standing up beginning to walk away.
"I don't think he'll be interested" I called after her. Okay, I didn't mean to say it like that.
"And, why not?" She turned around shooting me a glare.
"He's waiting for his mate" I replied honestly. He truly was. He hasn't even had his first kiss yet. Her face fell slightly and understanding crossed her but it changed immediately.
"Really? I just think you're jealous" she accused walking towards me again.
"Of what?" I snorted.
"Me" She said narrowing her eyes into slits, crossing her arms over he chest.
"Righhttt" I stretched, nodding sarcastically. She doesn't scare me.
"What your tone" she hissed. Now she was just begging for attention. The students in the room turned their heads in our direction.
"Or what?" I challenged. I couldn't help but smile. Alec is going to kill me.
She clenched her fist before clenching and walking away. That was fun . Alec had told me to meet him in the canteen during lunch, so I did. I stood near the canteen entrance waiting for the arrival of Alec before I felt something hard collide with my shoulder, knocking my bag to the floor.
"Watch it" a male snarled while I bent down to retrieve my bag.
"Don't steal my line" I stood up facing him. He was cute. Too bad his personality was s**t.
"What'd you say?"
"Great, he's deaf too" I mumbled, but I knew he heard. He moved forward to grab me but a body blocked him. More specifically, Alec's.
"Don't even try" Alec said in a deadly whisper. I've seen this Alec. This Alec is not good. You don't want to make this Alec angry. Angry Alec equals broken bones.
"Oh, look the hero" The boy mocked nudging his friends. Alec cricked his neck, clenching his fists. All of a sudden the entire canteen fell into a hush. The boy's face fell. Him and his friends instantly ran to an available seat and sat down. I looked around and saw all eyes looking towards the floor. Not one was looking up. There was power in the room. An indescribable power which even gave me the urge to bow. The Alpha. There's no other explanation. He's here.
"What is going on?" That voice was familiar. Chance.
"No problem here" Alec replied calming down slightly. I moved to the side trying to catch sight of the Alpha.
"You three are expected in the Alpha's office first thing after school." He commanded pointing to the three boys.
I saw him. At least one was rumour was correct. He was damn hot. He had a slight stubble but otherwise had a flawless face. He wore a tight black shirt which hugged his muscle clearing showing them off. I felt something, but it wasn't strong. He looked up and our eyes locked. Only for a split second but I felt a sudden shiver. As soon as we made eye contact I hid behind Alec again.
I guess I finally met the Alpha

ALPHA RAVEN
Chapter 4

****************************
During our small trek to the Pack house, Chance literally half skipped because he was so excited to finally have some visitors.
"I could p**s rainbows right now, I'm that excited" were his exact words. I'm staring to re-think my view on this pack. They don't seem that bad.
One person doesn't represent an entire pack.
Oh, so your back? I thought you weren't speaking to me?
I'm your wolf. I can't stay away from you even if I wanted to.
You're right though, I haven't really heard anything about the Blood Moon Beta. Only it's Alpha. He's pretty infamous.
I've heard he's hot.
H***y dog.
I would give you a nasty look. But I already see you have one.
Whatever.
It's scary to think people like you can breed.
Okay, enough. Bye-bye. I blocked out my wolf as we got to the pack house. Describing it as huge would be an understatement. I stepped out from the woods, gaping at the large mansion that was set just beyond the trees , towering over me as if attempting to intimidate me. The cream coating of the paint shined as the sun beat down on it, causing me to have to squint.
As I stepped onto the side walk leading to the house, I noticed a marble fountain sitting towards the right side of the lawn. An angel holding a flower was perched on top, looking up towards the sky. Water spurted from its other hand, which lay gently out in front of it, as if waiting for someone to take it in return. The water fell gently towards the crystal blue pool beneath it, causing ripples to form and wave out until they were no more.
Chance pushed the door open and allowed Alec and I to step in first. I stole a glance around the place. The peachy linoleum floor of the entrance glowed, obviously having been cleaned before we came. A doorway was on either side of the room, one admitting you into the kitchen, the other into the living room. We all entered the living room only to be welcomed by pounding coming from upstairs as two little boys ran down the winding staircase, each of them holding a toy car, chasing each other.
The living room was absolutely beautiful but the room was so full it was claustrophobia-inspiring. A seething mass of people were littered in the room either watching TV or just chilling oblivious to their surroundings.
"Well, this is where you both will be staying for the rest of your high school life" Chance said proudly.
"Wow" was all Alec said, his voice full of awe. I was still looking around getting used to my surroundings.
"I'll show you to your rooms" Chance said walking through the crowd as they split for him. I followed behind trying to ignore everyone's curious gazes. He led us up two flights of stairs then down a hallway straight to the end.
"This is Alicia's room" Chance said pointing to a brown door on his left.
"This is Alec's room" He continued pointing to a door on his right.
"That's very convenient. Thank you" Alec thanked before walking into his room.
"Thank you" I said before heading to my room. Chance just nodded his head before leaving. I walked into my room blinded by the rays of the sun which p*eped through the windows. I walked to the windows taking hold of the curtains before closing them. This room was stunning. The room consisted mostly of the colour gold - which happened to be my favourite colour - along with specks of maroon. There was a king sized bed in the centre of the room with two vintage couches next to it.
Placing my bags near the foot of the bed, I removed some clothes before walking to a door which I presumed led to the bathroom. I opened the door walking in only to stop and gape. It was huge. My dream bathroom. The entire bathroom was tiled with a shower in the corner of the room, next to a bath which was sitting on a platform.
I locked the door behind me before I stripped naked and walked into the shower. There were around three to four shower heads embedded into the walls. It allowed us to choose which shower head we wanted. This was perfect. Not soon after I exited the shower, I quickly wiped my self dry before jumping into my clothes and heading over to Alec's room. I knocked on his door and waiting a few seconds before he opened it.
"Welcome to my lair" Alec whispered in a deep voice. I laughed at his attempt before walking in and jumping on his bed.
"This house is amazing" Alec commented laying down beside me. I just nodded in agreement. Alec sat up leaning his elbow on the bed, his head resting on his hand, facing me.
"We'll be starting school tomorrow" he mourned.
"It can't be that bad" I said trying to be optimistic.
"Who knows? You'll be protected by me, but who's gonna protect me?" he asked laying back down.
"Maybe you'll find 'the one'" I looked at him as he laughed.
"I doubt it" Alec jumped up and and stood on the edge of the bed towering me.
"Remember when you kicked me in the balls?" he asked coming closer. Not this again.
"I will not hesitate to do it again. Don't come any closer" I warned backing up but he had already caught me when he jumped on me, once again straddling me.
"You deserve it" was all he said before he attacked.
"Stop! Please. Have some mercy" I said in between my laughter.
"Nope" He said. Just as he started to tickle me again the door burst open.
Uh Oh

ALPHA RAVEN
Chapter 3

Maybe the wolf is in love with the moon, and every month it cries for the love it cannot touch.
******************************************************************************************************************************
West Indies need 1 9 more runs from 6 balls.
That's not bad. England can do it.
It's a six
Don't panic it's not over yet.
13 from 5 balls...it's a six
Calm down. Deep breaths. In and out.
7 from 4 balls...it's a six
No. No. No. Nooooooo
1 from 3 balls...the ball is delivered by Stokes and...it's another six...
I jumped out of my seat pulling at my hair, screaming at the screen from frustration. So close. So blooming close. I was on the verge of tears. They were also tears of frustration.
"I don't care whether they lost. They are the real champions for me." I declared looking at Alec. I turned around towards the screen once again only to see Stokes sitting on the ground, his head in his hands crying, while his team mates comforted him. You're a champion Stokes.
"Come on, they were good" Alex said referring to the WI's
"They were amazing, which is why they won. But I still wanted England to win" I replied picking up all the stray Pepsi cans to chuck away. Half of the Pack had gathered in the screening room to watch the World Cup final. Some were happy with the results...some not so much.
"How about we go see the Alpha?" Alec recommended pulling at my arm.
"Sure. Whatever." I wasn't in the mood for anything anymore. Alpha Butler had been calling several Packs to see of they would give let us stay for a while. I'm not sure what reason he gave them because he obviously cannot share my secret with them.
Alec knocked on the office door waiting for the signal to enter. Once we heard the 'come in' we walked in to find the Alpha along with my Dad and the Luna sitting around the desk.
"We found you a Pack to stay in" was the first words that escaped the Alpha's mouth.
"Which is?" Alec asked.
"That's the difficult bit" my Dad muttered but I had heard him.
"What's that supposed to mean" I walked closer to him sitting down on the couch.
"Well, the pack doesn't have the cleanest image" the Luna said looking between Alec and I.
"As long as its not the Blood Moon Pack, we're all good" Alec laughed.
"That's exactly who they are" Dad said.
"You're kidding me" I shrieked jumping off the couch.
"You're seriously going to send us there. They're probably more dangerous then whoever's after Ali" Alec said backing me up.
"Which is why I chose them. Whoever's after Ali won't dare attack the Blood Moon Pack in the fear of getting killed." Alpha said standing from his chair and making his way towards us.
"I promise you, if anything happens you'll be out of there the next minute" he reassured me.
"London's not too far from Bristol. It only takes two hours or so to reach" the Luna spoke up. I didn't care whether it was only two hours away. It was still far away from the people I love. I have never stayed away from my family. Ever.
"I would do anything to keep this pack safe" I said. An attack on me meant an attack on my Pack. I can't stand that.
"We'll go" Alec agreed. Thank God he's going with me. I would have been a wreck alone.
"Great. Pack your bags you're leaving in an hour." Dad announced making me choke on air.
"An hour? This is a short notice, is it not?" Alec asked voicing my thoughts.
"Don't worry the Alpha and I are coming with you, to drop you" Dad confirmed looking at Alpha Butler, who gave him a nod.
Alec and I fled the room and straight to our room's to pack our bags. I removed all the clothes from my cupboard and shoved them into my bag. I removed another smaller bag from under my bed and placed my shoes, accessories and make up in it, zipping it up. Thirty minutes later, I was dragging my bags down the stairs towards the living room. Alec was already there talking to some of his friends. I walked over to them to say my goodbyes and moved towards my Dad.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"Now or never" I said dramatically. He chuckled leaning down to peck my forehead.
"Lets get on the road" Alec yelled with fake enthusiasm.
We walked out the front door turning around to give a goodbye to friends who stood there. I walked around to the back of the car to place my bags in the boot. I sat at the back with Alec by my side. My dad was driving and Alpha was shotgun.
I watched the forest fade as we drove onto the motorway. The forest I grew up in. I had no idea how long I would be staying in the Blood Moon Pack, but no matter how long it would be, I would miss this place more then ever.
I felt Alec's hand enclose mine. I turned towards him giving his hand a small squeeze and a small smile. We all sat in silence for the rest of the journey. As we took the exit towards London I got a glimpse of the forest. No doubt it was larger then the one back home.
We drove on a deserted road which entered the forest towards the Pack territory. I looked out the window trying to find a spot I could come to with Alec. Then I saw it. I caught a glimpse of a beautiful lake surrounded by dozens of tree's. It was perfect.
I smiled to myself until it was out of sight. We drove for another fifteen minutes before we arrived at the destination. We all piled out the car and pooled around it.
"This is it. You'll have to make your own way from here" Alpha spoke up.
"Stay safe, Poppet. We'll miss you" Dad leaned down and kissed my temple while Alpha gave me a hug. Alec thought he was too manly for a kiss so he stuck with hugs.
"Now remember, you're here because your were bullied in school and you couldn't take it, so you're moving to this school" my Dad explained once again.
"I still think we could come up with a better excuse" I said shrugging.
"Anyway Alec, if asked, you're here because it is your duty to protect her no matter where she is" Dad said ignoring me turning to Alec, who just nodded. Dad pecked my forehead once again before turning around and walking back to the car.
"I love you Dad" I couldn't help but yell after him. I instantly turned around and a few seconds later I was engulfed in his arms.
"I love you too. Take care, okay?" He kissed my hair. I just nodded, not having the strength to form words. He turned around again and sat in the car. This time actually leaving.
"Shall we?" Alec asked offering me his arm.
"We shall" I wrapped my arms around his but removed it again realising I couldn't possibly carry my luggage with my arm like that.
We walked for fifteen more minutes before we got to the territory line. We were welcomed by five huge guys who stood around the area looking down at us like we were the mud under their feet. Jerks.
"Name and Pack" one the men growled.
"That's enough" another voice ordered before we could answer. All the men instantly looked down as the voiced echoed around the forest.
A man with chocolate brown hair walked towards us, trying to pull on a shirt at the same time. Damn, this boy was fine. He had chocolate brown eyes which matched his hair along with washboard abs. If this is how all the boys are here, I might even enjoy my stay.
"Sorry about that. I'm the Beta of the Blood Moon Pack, you can call me Chance" he introduced holding out his hand. I took his hand giving it a small shake. He did the same with Alec.
"Alicia, but I go by Ali" I introduced myself.
"Alec, and I also go by Alec" Alec said after I finished.
"Welcome to the Blood Moon Pack, I hope you enjoy your stay" Chance said with a little bow. I think I'm gonna be good friends with him.
