On the eve of the 31st International Convention of the Sociedad Española de Killis (SEK), we celebrate the legacy of Francisco Garcia Lora, a remarkable Spanish explorer who took part in many iconic expeditions to Equatorial Guinea. The species Aphyosemion lorai was named in his honour.

¿La diferencia? El ambiente.
Un charco abierto y complejo permite que se completen los ciclos de vida de los parásitos (que dependen de insectos, aves y otros hospedadores).
Un charco pequeño, sombreado y aislado… los corta por completo.

💡 No es el pez: es el ecosistema el que define las interacciones invisibles.
